I have been an avid music fan since about the age of 5 where my 1st record was Shawaddywaddy's greatest hits!!! I became a fan of The Police around 78 & from there to The Jam & the whole mod revival thing in the early 80's, 2 tone also some old funk & rare groove, Michael Jackson & the 80's synth / electro thing, then bam, I heard Grandmaster Flash's adventures on the wheels of steel & I became hooked on Hip Hop, where I stayed until the house scene arrived in 88. I became a raver & have been into Jungle / D&B & all forms for quality underground electronic music ever since. I am currently buying old Jungle & anything else interesting from the early 90's or any other period really!

rollin beats and bass from Swift, some of his early stuff went under the radar imo. Peate Parsons on the buttons I believe.

as I said, but the others are full length from memory, but the best thing you can do is check them against the 12" release times.

Didn't mention it cause it's a bit of a filler track imo, and not one RK's best efforts at all. You have just given it a personal recomendation yourself though ;-)

Brutal Bass is the pick of an excellent bunch for me, everything a Jungle track should be, deep, dark, sparse with great drums & cavernous BASS !

I have to disagree with Chronical below as I think this is an excellent release that is varied in it's tracks. From the opening jazzy piano riff on Dinner time jazz, the track builds with a nice brass section and a solid break and decent b line. All this ... See full review

Brilliant side project from what was the best label around in the early naughties. Only ran for 3x outings but each one had some real gems on them, the pick of the bunch here is MIST Taking over me, a quality deep house excursion that you never get tired ... See full review

Wicked comp from V recs here at a time when the music was just starting to see the light again after a very cold & dark period. It kicks of with Adam F's monumental Brand New Funk, with it's Grandmaster Flash sampling funk laden intro. If ever there was ... See full review

First heard this on a Fabio Kiss show in 95 & only just discovered it was after all released. the original is a decent tune but it's all about the Undiscovered mix for me, just pure sleazy jazz n bass. serious deep late night biznizz !

a suberb collection of forward thinking and still fresh sounding cuts, even today. Fourth World's Saxx is a nice minimilast roller with deep bass and punchy horn stabs and vocal snippets, finished of by some nice break switches and edits. Motive One's ... See full review

Great comp here from one of the most forward thinking labels of the mid 90's. I bought the CD for just the one track, the EOA remix of Tango's Revelations, an absolute banger of a tune that was never released (the original) & caned on plate by Bukem. The ... See full review
