Wel, you made a very very good choice in buying it sound unlistened. It's an absolute corker of an EP. The two B-side tunes I had looked for forever. Nice work!

This really is an astonishing piece of vinyl. Both sides are equally well conceived and produced. Doesn't get much better than this, if at all. Well worth the asking prices IMO!

I loved, nay worshipped Ellis Dee as a DJ but was never a massive fan of his own releases. This however for me encompasses what he brought to the turntables, i.e. loose and rolling breakbeat badness. It is utterly amazing!

My pride and joy for 2-3 years before it perished in a house fire in deepest, darkest Wiltshire ... Tears ... :(

In Effect is one of those tunes that encompasses the whole scene at that moment in time. It's stupendously good imo!

Awesome words! Same. First heard on a Roni Size and Krust Galaxy 101FM show in the mid Nineties and literally been trying to ID it for 24 years ... EPIC. NESS.

Plenty of love here brother. Light Years is one of my favourite tracks ever. The piano key sends shivers down my spine. Sea of Destiny a straight up classic too.

This was released in 1996? Surely not, it's a '93 tune isn't it ...

Massive tune! Totally rinsed in '94 and personally took me forever to ID it. Class.

The Never Felt This Way Hyper Mix is one of my favourite tunes from back in the day. So uplifting and high-energy with all the key ingredients.

It's one of THOSE tunes from 92 that was totally ubiquitous and rightly so. Top 5 slammer!

Yes, totally agree with this. Another one of those records that is so overlooked.

Music ... Talk about seminal. Man, that tune kicked off and ended a thousand sets up and down the land in 93. It was so different then, so fresh and absorbing. We would stand behind the bike sheds at school passing around headphones plugged into ... See full review

I actually agree with this. So overlooked in the crate, but listening to the flipside now with an open mind it had quite a bit of potential to be a bit of an anthem in the ilk of a lot of the old Slammin Vinyl stuff. I wonder if it had come out a little ... See full review

I could not have said this better. I feel exactly the same way. THAT drop at 03:52 you could frame and put on my wall. It's lethal! Top, top, top tune.

There's a great set by Mickey Finn @ Quest in 1993 when he drops Suspension of Disbelief then totally throws your brain out by abruptly halting it an dropping a totally polar tune which I can hear in my head, but just can't think of the name (Ray Keith ... See full review

Yep! I remember passing a TV on which people were watching Flatliners and hearing the sample. I couldn't believe my ears! Anyway, so proud to have picked this up when it was released. Bought in a record shop in Swindon where the old Rollermania used to ... See full review

Yup! I remember passing by the TV when some folk were watching Flatliners and stopping in my tracks and picking my jaw up off the floor. So proud to also have picked up a copy of this back when it came out in a little record store in Swindon (home of the ... See full review

I would have to agree with the Rider there! The Helicopter Tune is totally seminal. No collection is complete without it.

I am almost certain that my versiondoesn't have the "Slipmatt" sample at the beginning of the tune ... However, I no longer have a deck to check. Anyone else's version like mine?
