Vintage Electronic, Art-Noise, Collective Improv, Drone, Sound Art, Musique Concrete, Krautrock, early ElectroAcoustic, etc. If it's out there, I'm in there...

I generally don't burn copies or tape things in my collection and I'm unable to rip from vinyl, but I'm always up for a trade, especially for something on my Wantlist.

Pressing help! I have what appears to be a variant of The Rolling Stones - Some Girls with run-out etchings ST RS 784079 C on side A & ST RS 784079 G on side B (STERLING TJ stamp on both sides), light/pastel pink/lime/yellow/blue sleeve but with "Some Girls" in blue instead ... See full review

The track listing here does not match the actual sequence of the tape itself.
Blancmange's track is a home demo of "I've Seen the Word."

Can any owners of their releases confirm if they use master tapes or vinyl as sources?

Hey owners, just curious: Is this CD sourced from the vinyl or master tapes (as far as you can hear)? Thanks!

Hey lucky owners: Is the same material repeated on both sides or does side B continue from side A?

To my ears, it's not so much the pressing that's frustrating (mine is yellow, plays fine, not crackly) as the fact that it's MONO. While I haven't yet seen the film, this sounds like clean score and not like the music & effects that plague many ... See full review

The end time of Part 1 on this release (7:58 P.M.) suggests that Side A here is 11 minutes longer than Side A of the LP. Can any of the lucky owners of this cassette confirm if there are in fact 11 minutes of additional music compared to the LP? ... See full review

Curious, how do you know that the label used YouTube videos as the source? I realize the music matches, but do you mean that this is a tape of mp3 audio tracks?

Sounds mp3-sourced; clipped & harsh. Hold out for the earlier version, if you have that option. The Canadian CD has surface noise on almost all tracks but is much truer to the original sound!
