Profile

Private Seller, Not A Shop: I bought my first singles back in 1979 - not ashamed to say they were Pop Musik by M and Supertramp's The Logical Song. Ever since then I have been an avid buyer of all things vinyl. I now collect record labels especially in the vein of Rough Trade, Cherry Red, Creation et al. Long may my vinyl addiction last. I have just purchased a Pro-Ject Record Cleaning machine so if you want yours cleaned before posting please ask.

I have a copy of this that was probably released for the UK market. There is an additional barcode sticker on the rear stating the catalogue number ROUGH 150. The barcode is 5 014644 301503. I would suggest that ROUGH 150 be added to this listing as... See full review

Printed Inner Lyric Sleeve. Black vinyl version. Is this just a US release? I only ask because I got mine from Amazon in the UK...probably should read UK & US or Worldwide. The only 'LP' reference is on the run-outs. Sleeve and spine state just 'DOC324'

There is a standard black vinyl version of this album that needs putting on here. I got 2 sheets of stickers and 2 fridge magnets with mine direct from the Rough Trade Website.

There is still nowhere on the record that adds the "N" to the catalogue number...unless you can show me where it is.

Where on the record is there any reference to SWP001VN? Surely this should just be listed as a second pressing to the main "Town Centre" page.

Can anyone out there tell me why this is in a "Clash" single sleeve? This was used for their "Hitsville UK" single. I'm sure it's not a generic sleeve for "Independent Label" releases. Should it be in the photographs?

I dispute the fact that they played the first WOMAD in 1982...I'm sure that they cancelled at the last minute to be replaced by the godawful Haysie Fantayzee!

This record costs about £40 from Rough Trade direct....why anyone would think that it was acceptable to charge over £200 for it in the week of its release on here makes my blood boil. This is NOT what Discogs should be about. Grrrrrrr

Is the Rough Trade Catalogue Number correct on this page? I don't have it but surely it would be the same as the Vinyl Release which ends in "787" not "767".

My copy plays "November November" on both sides. The run-off matrix is "REWIND 13 - A" both sides. Should this be a separate listing as a mispressing?

My copy may have the labels reversed - maybe someone could help. The run-out etching EGG 001 - A the label states "Laughbeat". The run-out etching EGG 001 - B the label states "Can't Help It". Are they reversed?
