There's a bit of surface noise at times on this one, which is a shame. Great record though. Best played loud

The SQ is great on this reissue!
Having compared it to my OP https://www.discogs.com/Guns-N-Roses-Appetite-For-Destruction/release/383777 to my ear it sounds quite different, not better or worse just different. There're details that are more forward... See full review

Mine is somewhere in the middle of the two extremes of the reviews. The SQ is satisfactory after the record was cleaned on my Okki Nokki, although it still carries a few ticks and pops. To my ear the record is not as dynamic as it could be but is... See full review

My copy was noisy until after a clean. There a still a little noise, but the SQ is greatly improved. Regardless it’s a great collection of songs!

A nice sounding time capsule of period grooves. Spooky Tooth covering I am the Walrus is worth the price of admission alone.

Sounds much better post-clean.
Not a patch on an OP, but still a nice listenable pressing.

Such a great sounding record! It's a posthumous release, but is a great collection of songs on a lovely sounding record.

This is my first purchase of the latest reissues and I'd meant to buy the UK/EUR version, as I'd heard they sound better than the US versions, but this record sounds incredible! The detail is really quite remarkable. I'm yet to hear the UK/EUR... See full review

In places this record has some epic grooves! In places the rhythms make me uncomfortable, but that's OK! Nice to hear Jack pushing the envelope.

This is a very nice sounding record, but not perfect. The remaster job is nice, but maybe a little clinical?

My copy sounds pretty good. I can see how some other members have given this record a less than great review as I think it does sound somewhat compressed in parts, but overall I enjoyed it. There're some great moments and the tracklist is killer!

13 year old me really liked Poison. Having listened to this LP for the first time in almost 30 years today, 42 year old me is ashamed! This really is trash which hasn't withstood the test of time very well at all. At least it was relevant at the time... See full review

This a good album and a worthy follow up to the excellent Blunderbuss and the Ultra LP features are interesting, if somewhat gimmicky. In my experience the "inside-out" nature of Side A makes cueing the first track a pain! I've also never been able to... See full review

My copy is a mispress, with sides 1 & 4 appearing on record 1 and sides 2 & 3 on record 2.
Strong SQ and nice dynamics throughout on this pressing. I was pleasantly surprised.

One of those 80's albums that is so chock full of hits that it plays like a best of. One of the big groups of the time at the height of their powers!
A typically good AUS press. Nice SQ.

An underrated album which I dismissed for a long time. I've only just rediscovered it now and am really enjoying it. Nice SQ too, especially for a GZ pressing which I've found can be pretty hit and miss in the past. I suspect the quality of the sound... See full review

A nice collection of live tracks that capture the band at their best. The SQ on this record is nice but is hampered a little by the quality of one or two of the original recordings in my opinion. A definite must have though.
