In order to help users to catalog their brazilian pressed records and make submissions with a minimum of mistakes while inputting information, I’m sharing information on the vinyl record manufacturers in Brazil. Fortunately brazilian legislation stipulated that all releases has to identify the manufacturer in their labels, and the analysis of this information, if does not nail the year of releasing, at least eliminates the possibility of editing in years when the company did not exist. Remember that these manufacturers are not labels, and many of them were also distributors while they were manufacturers and, in some cases, continued as distributors without being manufacturers anymore. Here the list:

• Casa Edison, the pioneer Brazilian record company, which ordered the manufacturing on Europe to distribute in Brazil, from 1900’s to 1913 when owner Fred Figner associated with International Talking Machine Co. m.b.H. and installed the 1st pressing plant in South America, the
