Honestly, one of the best sounding albums I've ever heard. It shimmers. If you can let go of the pretension and nerdy prestige of owning an early or original pressing and the music is more important to you than the collectible/resale value; your ears...

Great music obviously but what's with audika having the nerve to charge a double LP price for a single LP. This release has the same msrp as the 2LP compilations. Can't even bother with an insert.

FYI , Light in the attic keeps all there album in print consistently. It may be sold out at retail. but I can assure you they are pressing more copies. don't pay stupid prices for reissues. Universal music is also doing a reissue.

I LOVE this album. But this is going to be the last time I pay damn near 50 dollars for a new in-print release. Eremite Records , lets do something about these silly prices, there is plenty of shit cut by KG that doesn't cost this much, so lets not...

Sounds great but I prefer the original, probably cuz it's the version my ears have known for 30 years and it just sounds and feels the way it did when it came out and I first heard it.

Compared this to my VG+ OG copy. Hate to say but this RP smokes the OG. But hey thirdman for as much effort and money you charge for these releases just put them in a damn polylined sleeves! the extra 30 cents won't break you!

Doubtful. The thing about manufactured scarcity is that you can't actually manufacture a collectable. Remember the Beanie Babies craze of the 90's. PPL were remortgaging their houses and putting all their money in BB. Guess what happened? Those things...

The problem could easily be fix if discogs made a setting where ppl couldn't sell it for a more than a certain percentage more than the MSRP for a certain amount of time.

Who cares about the 4 songs not included in the box set. There are still several versions of those songs that are more or less the same in the box. This was a clearly a cash grab release for Wilco. Cool cover though!

Yeah, I thought this would be a relatively easy release to get after RSD but oh well. For just 10 bucks more I get the whole damn box set. I rather hear different versions of those tracks from the actual YHF era than some versions played in 2022.

Good mix and overall sound. But quite a bit of snap crackle and pops on my copy. I wish they would just press a plain black copy. How hard would that be?

Obviously not audiophile quality but damn good sounding for a bootleg. Some surface noise but nothing abrasive. Good dynamics and separation with the instrument, all things considered. What do you expect? It's a boot and the album itself is very lo-fi...

Although, not considered part of their classic era, this albums is packed with great tunes, and Joey's voice sounds as good as ever, despite the music itself suffering some of the worst tropes of mid -late 80's production. Underrated Ramones for sure

These SP represses look and sound great. But fuck these thick cumbersome packages that they come in! good luck getting the record in and out of the sleeves/jackets with ease.

Nerds love to split hairs and nitpick this pressing vs. that pressing; but here is the deal. All the single disc version of the album get this, sound the more or less the damn same! Any sonic nuances are basically negligible. The 2 LP sounds better...
