ridiculously underrated record, some great production on here. the opening track is a mellow slice of jazzy boom bap with complimentary cuts and all sorts of other nice sounds coming in and out of the mix, then towards the end of the track the MC comes ... See full review

there weren't any left by the time they got to Manchester last month, no vinyl whatsoever, other than the two album joints. disappointed to say the least.

the B-Side information is actually correct, it's an edit of the Blueboy 'Remember Me' track which sampled Marlena Shaw's 'Woman Of The Ghetto'. She never released a track called 'Remember Me'.

being a big fan of Various Blends, this is an essential track from their discography and not available on any other vinyl release.

the tracklisting is incorrect on the labels, A5 is listed as Paradise when it is actually on the B side; track B1. the sleeve doesn't indicate which tracks are in which side either.

such a dope record with each mix giving a unique vibe to accompany Conway's gutter flow. the George Fields remix sounds like it could have dropped in 95 and been a perfect accompaniment to Shook Ones or other now legendary classics of the era.

so how did he manage to release a record back in 1988 using the said same style then pal?

that's the point, he was ahead of his time, but wasn't afforded the same breaks that the groups you mentioned got.

if he'd have been picked up back in 88, I ... See full review
