Enigma - 15 Years After

Honestly, I really don't understand why Michael Cretu needed Rollo and Mark Bates to produce remixes of his own songs in the same style and sound as the originals. Just for the Rollo's name on it so it sells better, most probably...

With the current 80s hype, Per Gessle tried to jump on the wave, but failed. This is the worst album of Roxette / Per Gessle ever. Nice melodies (no doubt about it) are beaten by synthetic, even annoying sounds that should evoke the 80s but sound... See full review

Fun Fact: the song The Chaser samples Diva Plavalaguna singing from the 1997 film The Fifth Element, actually sung by Inva Mula.

I agree. Interesting stuff for collectors, but not worth listening more than once. Boring trance like Paul van Dyk's early stuff. Rather go for later Sequential One releases.

The song Timeless contains melody from the song "Laura Palmer's Theme" from the Twin Peaks soundtrack.

Original "Baião Destemperado" released by "Barbatuques" in 2002.
Remixed and released as "The Flute Tune" by "J-Cut & Kolt Siewerts" in 2008, which was again remixed by "Soulpride" in 2019.
And totally ripped off by Scooter in 2022 who just added some... See full review

The melody is very similar to Agnelli & Nelson's song Everyday.
Kai Tracid - Skywalker 1999

No, it wasn't. But Dawn Of Time is actually a new version of track "2001", which was a B-side of Kai Tracid's first single "So Simple" released in 1996 on vinyl.

Yeah, nice catch too :-) It's amazing to hear the broad variety of sources that Apollo 440 drew inspiration from.

And the song Flowers Love from Joël Fajerman is from the soundtrack to the TV series L'Aventure Des Plantes.

It is called SONGS, not MUSICS! Just a remark for your future reviews.
Maxx - To The Maxximum

Really poor eurodance album, based on one hit and one copy of that hit. Each song is a copy of another song of that era. Not even an attempt to be original. And two intros in the beginning? Are you serious? 1/5

The version called "Original Version" is in fact a new remix. The original "original version" can be found on the album.

The version on Happy Hour is not exactly the same as Martini Mix, some vocals are missing, some arrangements are different.

Wonder by DJ Cerla & Moratto (1995) was released a year after Wonderful(l) Days by Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo (1994).
But they both are covers of Help (Get Me Some Help) by Tony Ronald (1971). Probably CL&MT inspired Cerla&Moratto to make their own... See full review

Perfect album built around themes of demon, evil, and nitemares. We get some of the known singles like Alarma, Amokk and Diablo, then some interesting interludes fiathful to the demonic topics. But the core of this release are tracks like La Tierra Ya... See full review

One EP by Waldorff & Staettler, or RMB if you want, creates the missing link between second chapter of RMB music, represented by tracks like Spring, Reality, Everything, Break The Silence and closed by (experimental) Shadows, and the third chapter... See full review

All of the tracks are edits! Why did he need to put them on 2 CDs? If he left out 2 or 3 songs they could have easily fit on 1 CD. Or better - he could have put longer versions on. Shame.

This is an unofficial release. Why do you even mention audio quality?? You did not expect high quality audio with perfect dynamic range, did you? :-)
But as you said, the selection of the tracks is perfect, those songs are awesome.

The problem with this song is that Scooter took Xillions' song and just added HP shouts and here we go, a new Scooter single.
This song sounds very cheap (even cheaper than the video)...

I know what songs they (both) covered.
Question is why they both released almost the same song at the same time.

Exactly, it is 2018. And that's why people compare the albums. Because first three albums were groundbreaking and innovative. This one is pure shit, full of annoying noises, without ideas, pretty soon forgettable.

Anyone noticed the similarities between the songs We Are The Greatest by Scooter and Electric City by Music Instructor? Both released first on albums at almost the same time (summer 1998). Who copied who, that is the question.
