The Accüsed - Martha Splatterhead's Maddest Stories Ever Told

The actual tracklist on my cd is different from the printed listings on the album (front, back and the cd itself).
I don't know if this is a fault concerning the whole pressing or if it is just a few misprints.
Before I go and edit this entry, could... See full review

Favourite era: "War and Pain" to "Outer Limits", original line-up mostly. With exception of "Rrröööaaarrr", which was too much of a Venom rip-off sounding album.
Chewy did a great job of replacing Piggy, but the songwriting lost something of the magic... See full review

@ RecordChaser9: If it saves anyone the agony of hearing this, then my mission was succesful.
Thanks for the personal attack, though.

Shame that this isn't an instrumental album... It would have been so much better... Stefan's vocals, as much as it pains me to say, are not up to par with the music. At moments out of tune even...

Notes on weights of sleeve and sheet should be corrected!

Psyke is SUCH a killer! Blwe me away when it was released, and i'd still put it in my dj bag! 5/5

I own two versions of this cd [CD FLAG 5] and one seems like a faulty pressing...
The one with "CD FLAG 5" and "MASTERED BY NIMBUS" (readable from front of the disc) in the matrix has no mistakes.
The one with "FLAG CD 5" and "MPO 01 @" (readable from... See full review

Let me start off by stating that i absolutely LOVE 'Cinematography' and 'Against The Dying Of Light', but the singing on 3 of the 6 live tracks of Avrocar are just butchering them. What a disappointment...
There's some singing on 'Cinematography', and... See full review

I am completely baffled as to how a man who's capable of producing incredible tracks such as Fluid Motion, Mute, Double Vision and Sedation, can glide down the slope with producing total boring and uninspired predictable commercial crap like American... See full review

'The beat' would have made a great track, if they would have ditched the dreadful vocals that are now ruining the track...

I wonder why you would say this is all Romboy...
When i listen to both their solo stuff, i'm much more inclined to say that the melodies and filtering is done by Bodzin!
He seems more subtle in his approach than Romboy.
But in the end, they probably... See full review

These tracks are simply too good not to be released on vinyl or cd...
Hope someone wakes up and gives these tracks what they deserve.
I think mp3's are just too fleeting, i would like too hold a physical copy.

Metallica... Once heroes to me, now just part of the machine...

For me, Metallica released 3 essential albums: Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.

In 1983 this band changed my life. Kill 'em All was such a great relief in a... See full review

Am i the only one to NOT like this album?
I think it is mainly a repetition of older tricks... Only new thing is the incorporation of modern drum'n'bass-beats, which i think are nothing compared to the 1995-2000 d'n'b sounds...
Too much compression... See full review

Oh my GOD!
This has to be one of the worst albums in musical history!
It made the hairs on my back stand right up!
First: this is NOT done by The Orb, which is clear from the start.
The Orb would not have been ABLE to make such an awful sounding... See full review
Black Sabbath - Born Again

This actually is a very underrated release, IMO.
It does sound DIFFERENT from most Black Sabbath releases, but it has a very distinctive, haunted sound.
It seems more focused on atmosphere than clean sounds, and that's exactly why this album has... See full review

As far as triphop goes, this has got to be one of the most underestimated albums ever! Right up there with Portishead's "dummy", Lamb's first album and Massive Attack.

Yes, yes, mr. Twin into the hit parade! Unbelievable! And it works too!
Off course experimental stuff can be dancable and have hitpotential. Why not?

Very dark and menacing ambient/electro album.
Actually the only album i know that can compare to the classic "quiet weapons for silent wars" album by Black Lung.
Maybe you can also add Towering Inferno to this small list...

The original can't be beaten!
The brilliance in that one is that there are no beats and it still rocks like hell. Furious trip!
One of the most intense "techno" tracks ever to be recorded.
