This interview with former member and current audio curator of the official Rallizes releases, states pretty plainly that all of the non-Rivista cds are bootlegs. This... See full review

R.I.P. Takashi Mizutani (Les Rallizes Dénudés) 1948-2019

The mysterious and legendary founder/leader of the Japanese psych rock band Les Rallizes Dénudés is now confirmed to have passed away sometime in 2019. LRD was active from 1967-1996, but had... See full review

The same could be said for many historical figures. And yet somehow we have lots of evidence of their existence, but it's all in Japanese so I can't read it.

Make no doubt, they were a real band, but obscurity hides even the greatest artists from the... See full review

My apologies then, Austrian scalpers.

Black Monk from Germany loves to sell overpriced Sun Ra "rarities". Don't pay the scalpers, even if they are a store!

Potential buyers take note: this set has a second pressing, which has remedied the issues with the first pressing. All second pressings will have a recessed space for the disc, rather than a simple sleeve pocket.

To identify a sealed second pressing... See full review

This looks like another version of the early cdr "Nothing Never Ever", which was available for download from this link, but is gone. The description is:

"Volume III: Never Nothing Ever,... has a 30-minute 2007 live version of "Zeitgeist!" Also, a... See full review

You're correct, but they were overshadowed by the Minor Threat fans, who couldn't bring themselves to admit Fugazi was a better band.

Not a masterpiece, but a very important record in the history of JF. I bought this sometime after it was released. I had owned and listened to Niandra for many years, and was so excited to see another JF album appear in stores. I remember it was an... See full review

Clearly you don't, but the rest of the fans are quite happy with it. Thanks for your informative comments.

I love how the cover art and booklet seem like poorly shot photos of the real cover art. Like how he titled the band Dope (13) on Black Math, I think Cope's humour is a jet plane over most our heads.

No, it was at 3pm. And Strut is not the one who caused this situation. This isn't some kind of essential service, its a boxed set of obscure recordings from a niche artist. Had this come out any day but RSD no one would have bat an eye. That they... See full review

Looking at the past sale prices, I'd say it has a problem with buyers who panic and pay too much. Seriously, someone bought if for $399 US 4 days before RSD? Wow!

Those 1400 were for outside of the US, you know the rest of the world. They are out there.

The Nickelsdorf box did not come out on RSD, therefore it was not worth investing in for the vultures/flippers. Don't blame the label, its the panic buyers who "have to have it at any price" that ruin it for real fans would can only afford retail.... See full review

No way Jose. This album is anything but filler and noodling. I keep listening to it over the years, and it always blows me away at how forward thinking these songs are. I don't believe anyone will fully understand this album until about... See full review

You're telling me you bought the box and you don't already own the 1969 mix on any format? What kind of Zappa fan are you?
