Erik Aschans name is mentioned no less than 14 times on the sleeve and labels, kind of funny.

Not exactly an audiophile recording but to my ears this sounds much better on vinyl than streaming, especially the bass is a lot clearer, it’s kind of muffled when you listen on Spotify.

Anyway, I was a bit sceptical at first but this is a pretty... See full review

My copy of this isn’t numbered, otherwise it’s exactly as this version.

Well apparently it seems some copies skip and some don’t, I guess I’ve been lucky to only have found copies that don’t skip
Grant Lee Phillips - Walking In The Green Corn

Hit and miss. A late night slowburner of an album where only about half of the tracks live up to that, the rest are just slow. Still I’d say this is Phillip’s best solo album up until this point (for some reason I still haven’t listened to any of his... See full review

I don’t think this was ”manufactured as a display item”, it was obviously meant to be played as well, and there are lots of 90’s picture discs that sound pretty great. But no, this isn’t one of them. My copy looks brand new but has significant surface... See full review

If you check sold copies on eBay (on popsike.com) very few of the copies sold in the last couple of years have the hologram sticker, regardless of label variant. So no, I don't think you can tell which pressing you have that way.

The End Is The Beginning Is The End should’ve been included here, it could’ve replaced Landslide or Eye (not that they’re bad songs but they were never hits, while TEITBITE was all over MTV in the late 90’s). 33, Rocket and I Am One are sorely missing... See full review

As an album this is kind of so-so, but Beautiful Day is hands down one of the very best songs released during the second half of the 90’s.

I’ve owned and played the 2004 pressing (with the Forget Her bonus 7”) for almost 20 years and have always thought it sounds great, but recently I got my hands on an original ’94 pressing and I gotta say there’s a noticeable difference in sound... See full review

Them (3) - Belfast Gypsies
posted a review of Them (3) - Belfast Gypsies. 7 months ago
It’s clear from the labels, as well as the cover, that this was released under the band name Them (despite Van Morrison having gained the rights to the name, at least in the UK, which might explain why this was only released in Sweden) and that the... See full review

2/3 of the copies for sale under this entry are listed as brand new and sealed, most of those are probably not the first pressing as this has been reissued at least once since ’99. The original has the barcode printed ever so slightly (1-2... See full review

posted a review of Midlake - The Courage Of Others - Limited Promo Vinyl. 10 months ago
This is the original band mix of the album, the whole thing was remixed for the commercial release. Can't say the difference is that great, it's not exactly like listening to a different album, but a nice thing to have nonetheless.

I have the same problem, the needle jumps all over the place on side C/D. The first record is warped as well but it’s playable. I contacted LITA and since I didn’t order directly from them they don’t give a shit that they’re selling a shoddy product,... See full review

Under You is the best song Grohl has written in over 20 years, didn’t see that coming! Tragic backstory aside (RIP Taylor) the rest of the album isn’t up to the same standard, unfortunately, but it’s still a step up from everything FF’s done since the... See full review

Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape
posted a review of Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape. about 1 year ago
The most consistent FF album by far, at least 8 out of 13 songs are absolutely killer, and the rest aren’t exactly bad. They haven’t even come close to that on their later albums.
Oh and this pressing kicks ass, sounds great.
Nico Yaryan - What A Tease
posted a review of Nico Yaryan - What A Tease. about 1 year ago
I had no idea who this guy was but bought the record just because it was so cheap (€3 brand new and sealed!) and released on Partisan. I don’t regret it. Very enjoyable west coast rock-ish stuff often reminiscent of Jackson Browne.
Alice In Chains - We Die Young

This is the regular white UK pressing with an added obi strip printed out by some random record shop

cadriopo with full cooperation of the artists and labels, yet they don’t even get an exclusive color? Not a chance. They buy a bunch of the regular pressings, slap on an obi and trick people into thinking it’s some exclusive edition.
Anna Själv Tredje - Tussilago Fánfara

This is a pretty rare album yet I’ve somehow managed to find 3 copies in the wild over the years, all for less than €2. On the other hand it took me several years to come across a copy of Thin Lizzy’s Chinatown 🤷🏼 Funny how that works sometimes
The Vines - Vision Valley

By far the rarest Vines album on vinyl, they can’t have pressed more than 500 copies of this one.

Love Battery - Confusion Au Go Go

Nice to finally have this on vinyl. I assume they cut 3 songs from the original CD to fit this on one LP, but I would’ve gladly paid a couple of bucks extra for a double-LP with the complete album.
