Just another music and vinyl junkie who worked in the industry for almost 20 years. Not new to Discogs, but my long-time account was compromised; back again and working hard on the database, more than anything.
Please take a minute to VOTE on my pending submissions. Every vote helps the database.
For the most part, I'm here to catalog my music and work on the database. I've got about 2000 records and about 10,000 CD's, as well as an entire live music archive🎤 - including every single Dead show ever recorded (6.5TB worth) - but I do keep a few random things up for sale. I am slowly adding my vinyl as I look through each listing that I own, to ensure the database is correct and complete. PLEASE, if you buy something from me, take a moment to leave feedback on your experience. It's the only way buyers have to gauge a seller's "performance," and I value the opinion. Please read my selling/shipping policy before buying. It's not just for me, but for you.

I would have gladly paid for an additional record to go in the set in order to maintain song integrity. I totally “get it,” as to why it was done this way, but it’s a turn-off for me. Thanks for the opinion though. Cheers.

The fact that they split the Dark Star between sides is an instant turn-off to this. I’ve had the show for decades, and wanted to pick up this set, but the minute I saw that split, it was a deal breaker! WHEN WILL RHINO LEARN!

I’m not exactly sure I understand your question, but I think you’re asking about stamped releases. Most promo items that are merely stamped with the promo language do NOT receive a separate sub. Any aftermarket stamp or promo identification does not...

The oversight comes from people like you and me. If you have an issue, begin the process of merging the two. It won’t happen by itself.

That doesn’t sound like a TP from Epitaph; I doubt that it’s and actual TP. Either way, it sounds like it may need its own submission.

Why are the first pressings of this record not permitted but the reissues are fine?

As of Dec 2019, both box sets (man & woman size bracelets) are still available on the SOM website for $165.

I really liked this short-lived project during the 80’s and I’m happy to see it reissued. That said, why they wouldn’t take the time to remaster it is absolutely asinine.

For those who pre-ordered the item, Qrates will be sending a free replacement pressing, with shipping hopefully starting in March. At lease that’s what they told me when I contacted them. The band tweeted about it, then Qrates confirmed. We’ll see if...
