Hi there. Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been collecting music (and other things) for over 25 years. I am a neurotic and meticulous collector. Unfortunately, I have been going through a bad spell which has brought me to selling off all of my collectibles bit by bit. I have been avoiding the music most of all because it has meant a lot to me, kind of like the soundtrack of my life, if that makes sense at all. I have begun listing the CD’s in my collection while transferring my vinyl to digital.
It's a difficult thing for one to try and place value on the things they have collected in their life. For me, the music is the most difficult as it has more dimension and emotional connection to me than the inanimate objects... anyways, when I am going to post an item, I come up with a price based on the research I did on the internet regarding the availability of this item and what I hoped would be the minimum I could get for it. If you have any question regarding a specific item’s condition, if you are looking for something that I may not have posted yet, or an item in my collection you are interested in, let me know. Thanks for taking the time to contact me and for the interest in music that is not "mainstream". It's great to know that some people out there can still think for themselves and not consume all the crap that is hand fed to them by the music industry and corporate world in general.
All my items have been stored in a smoke free environment and handled carefully. Any imperfections will be noted honestly in the item description.
As for the other items, off the top of my head, I have a towel from 4AD for the band pale saints; a Kristin Hersh, from throwing Muses, keychain; an autographed ultravividscene t-shirt; a pillowcase from the band low; a towel that has a print from Savage Republic, and one from Deception Bay, some vhs video collections-cure, rem, siouxsie, the damned. Anyways, here’s the list of music... Best of luck to you.
