Stanley Beaufond - Boom Boom / Seychelles Mon Joli P'Tit Pays / Janette / Derwentdale narcisco

September 28, 2018
This is not a copyright issue. This is your issue. Having inherited copyrights of the works of your father does not mean you can prevent the sale of second hand records that are more than 40 years old. Owning copyrights means that you have the right to decide if, when and how certain songs get re-released, not that you can retroactively block the sale of genuine releases.
You are posting pictures of these records on the dedicated Facebook page. If there really were copyright issues, you wouldn't proudly post them there.
I hope discogs will soon lift the ban, because this is very questionable.

The Bank Of Munich - Darker Light as reviewed by narcisco

February 22, 2017
Heavily influenced by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, with a singer that sounds a lot like Nick Cave. It may be not very original, but it's actually quite good. Songs are good and there's nothing wrong with the recordings. Nice CD.

Kraftwerk - Kraftwerk 2 as reviewed by narcisco

June 5, 2013
Although the covers mentions "Excerpts from 'Kraftwerk 2' & 'Autobahn' " track B2 doesn't appear on one of these albums. 'Kohoutek' is actually an early version of 'Kometenmelodie 2 which appeared on a 7" as 'Kohoutek - Kometenmelodie (Version 1)'. The melody of this version was later used in 'Kometenmeoldie 2' as featured on the 'Autobahn' album. The inclusion of 'Kohoutek' makes this an interesting compilation as 'Kohoutek' can't be found on that many Kraftwerk records.

Einzelgänger (2) - Einzelgänger narcisco

April 7, 2013
The song that is listed as Liebes-Arie on this 7" is listed as Untergang on the Einzelgänger LP. I believe the version on here is actually the true Liebes-Arie, as it sounds more like a love song than the song that is listed under Liebes-Arie on the LP. I'm 99.9 % sure that the titles have been switched on the LP.

ami Marie - Verrückt Nach Glück narcisco

See for yourself, the labels clearly differ on more than one point. GEMA vs. STEMRA. Labelcode info vs. no Labelcode information, Ariola-Eurodisc GmbH vs. Ariola Eurodisc Benelux NV. These are more than enough differences to justify a seperate submission.

'Netherlands' refers to the country where the record was released, not the country of origin of the band.

Frank Affolter - The Way To Love narcisco

January 23, 2012
The B-Side 'Het Is Nog Niet Te Laat' was used by Arjan Ederveen as 'Kijk Naar Het Kind', a fictuous first single for his character Ron Selling, a fictuous singer. Ederveen played the character in his award winning television program 'Dertig Minuten'. Each episode of 'Dertig Minuten' was a realistic, but fake documentary. The sixth episode of the first season was called 'Scenes behind the scenes' and was about the popular and typically Dutch singer Ron Selling.

Mito - Droid narcisco

January 23, 2012
It's a cover of Droid by Automat. That song indeed had some similarities with Pulstar, though both are great in my opinion. I think Droid is distinct enough, not to call it a straight rip-off. I would call Droid by Mito neither an (almost) rip-off of Pulstar, nor a rip-off of Droid by Automat, just a good cover version. I also think Pulstar by Hipnosis is a pretty good version of Pulstar. By the way, Hipnosis eventually recorded a version of Droid too.
