This sounds pretty fucking solid. Also, the black is listed as 180g, but this white one Also feels like 180g. It's pretty heavy/solid. Not sure if the black had a hype sticker that said 180g, but the white seems to also be 180. Also, mine has a plain ... See full review

FYI - not all copies have the WB logo on the lower back right corner as embossed.

Given your review, it sounds much better than I thought it would. Yes, a bit flat and lacks some oomph, but not the worst I've heard. Given the following for VS, I sincerely doubt a remaster will occur, and chances are, it wouldn't be great.

So, I bought this because I'm not going to fork out $300-500. I think it sounds good. I think the original CD sounded bigger, thicker, and had more dynamic. The vinyl itself is nice and pretty clean. But the mastering is clearly digital and definitely is ... See full review

Woah. Way better than the original CD. Not sure how it compares to an original vinyl print, but this pressing is clean as fuck.

Confused. Mine says Made in Canada. But it's from 2008. The US issue is 2009, and I would assume says made in USA.

Anyone with any intel on this?

Yes. The mids are a little over-compressed. They always have been. It's not just a mastering thing, it was definitely always in the mix. I still think this release sounds great. Definitely better than the CD. It's more open and a little warmer.

The original was not 100% analog. The entire point of this release is that it is. They painstakingly recreated all of the digital transitions on tape. There's a really great interview with KS online about the process. He also mentions that in the future, ... See full review

Updating my comments.

The sound quality is great - the only issue being what's common with many new records, where it could use a cleaning to get rid of some of the extra grit from making the record. Without a cleaning, it's a little hissy with a few ... See full review

I really don't get it.... there seems to be crossover information regarding US vs EU versions.

I bought mine because I thought it was the EU version. The bar code is 602537649747. The small text next to it says "Manufactured in Germany by Furnace MFG / ... See full review
