Panacea

IMO it depends. The funny thing is Panacea kinda influenced me in giving happy hardcore a chance in that time you mentioned. I also was into that darkstep stuff during the late nineties, with no understanding of happy hc, but Tunes like state of... See full review

Twisted designz was his first "crossover" album. It was mainly a mixture of dnb and Hardcore. That's why some dn'B or Industrial fans don't like it either. Beside that it was less lofi than LPD, which was mainly dnb.
PM was a crossover of dnb and... See full review

As this record came out I was not very convinced of it, but as I listen to it right now again, I must say I dig it:
rockin', slow and solid kinda acid tunes keeping your spirits up. Not very innovative, but put you in the right mood for the... See full review

quite interesting release, which sounds kinda lowfi Techno / IDM -ish. Don't know if it is just because of Rhys and my prejudices, but imo reminds me of the roots of Frontline, End of 80s/beginning 90s.
Fans of the early FLA should risk an ear and... See full review
LFO - Advance

Mature work during a time when techno (and me) just grown up. My favorite work of LFO when I was sliding from alternative music to Tekno. In my oppinion this is more kinda industrial techno music. There were a lot of creative artists (even Bowie)... See full review
Download - Lingam

This work definately belongs to the greatest IDM releases of all times. I would even dare to compare Lingam with fsol‘s dead cities, afx drukgs or prodigy‘s Music for the jilted gen., although music is totally different of cause.

It seems that under the flag of codex's aufnahme+Wiedergabe label sägezahn Techno receives kinda reanimation. Also you Cannot say this kind of electronic music is very "progressive" or innovative at all, I also digged that Style as Heckmann produced... See full review

Some tracks are fancy (esp. Resignation Aussenseiter), but most of the tracks are quite boring.
It is very technoid stuff, but lacking of ideas and where the hell is the distortion? emmw2u 2 and immer wieder nein may felt kinda "old fashioned" but... See full review

Orphx - Pitch Black Mirror

Can someone explain why extreme aggression is labelled as Black Metal?
Is it cause of the pale bandphoto on the cover? 😈

deep, dark & Straight breakbeat work. Allthough not that bombastic as their debut still a solid work.

nice bang-your-head PC release. quite similar to the chiropteran work of Labelmaster panacea. Typical mixture of more actual position chrome sound: darkcore meets neurofunk at ground zero. Recommendations to Hidden fits quite well.

The one and only longplayer of UFO! Very cool and diversified dnb release. Not very popular although I really don't know why. This is indeed a very outstanding jungle recording, compared to the boring two-step stuff which was hyping during that time.

catchier and more direct 2 the floor. Not as dark or progressive as the last tech itch or D&R releases. goes more in a direction of Doc Shade and chameleon. Though still a solid and good work.
