Shockingly bad. Bought this record out of sheer curiosity. I need to stop doing that!

This is a master class work of art. I will have to come back later and write a proper review because my mind is too blown to even cut the surface right now.

Hard Times is slow tempo with bleeps, gentle piano riffs, breakbeats, rough and grinding stabs, acid squelches, ragga sample, very well-assembled tune with many embellishments while possessing a simple elegance, wonderful tune!

This release brings high energy with clever sampling - writes a fresh page in the book of hardcore, instantly reminded me of a record that recently came out called RJR 001. This one has an early 1994 vibe whereas RJR 001 is ruff late 1992, early 93 ... See full review

I wouldn't boycott this release for being a bootleg alone, but I am certainly irritated by the poor quality. I have thousands of vinyls ranging from MINT to G+, and when I purchased this NEW, I had high expectations for the sound quality. The first ... See full review

Hill Street has a massive bass line (this is an understatement) over a mellow piano break (yes, the bass sits on top of this one). This tune is upbeat, lacking melodrama, bringing a fresh jungle flavor using sped up 92 breaks. (8/10) Now Is The Time ... See full review

Golden Dawn summons the past present and future... evoking feelings of peace and wonder... a nod to the timeless pastime of gazing at constellation and asterism.

The latest release from Enormous Mouse is definitively breakbeat hardcore and one of their best to date! This is a must for 1992 style junkies... The B1 side features the hardcore acid business while B2 indulges a sweet piano break with female vocals ... See full review

My repress sounds excellent. I have the original to compare it to, and I haven't experienced the issues you describe.

Looking Into The Light blends 1992 into 1993 Breakbeat Hardcore. This tune avoids the darker hues of 1993 and furthers the bright optimism of the previous year via high pitched vocals and and beautiful piano melody. Bought doubles of this so that I ... See full review

What a tune! I have to agree with Dr_Screwdriver_eye... sometimes a tune is just worth the extra bucks. I would buy a double of this in a heartbeat =)

Ah yes, the AA1 side bring back memories... this one was chosen by Top Buzz @ Fantazia NYE 1991. This tune is actually from late 1991, but aren't we being pedantic?! On a side note: you have to love how Top Buzz brute forced in that Venom tune right ... See full review

First heard this EP in 1995 on KALX Berkeley 90.7, recorded it on cassette. Track A2 (Who I Be Part 2) is single-handedly my favorite piece of music in existence. It features profoundly haunting piano samples from a dusty record with popping noise. ... See full review

Overall, very good EP on the basis of A1 and B1. Smiley is rugged as they come, brief bad boy toast, cryptic vocal samples, echo chamber effects and funky horn sample. Polaris has feather light synths and crystal clear bleeps over a crunchy synth layer, ... See full review

I love my copy to death. Truth is a bad boy, serial killer tune. Bought this vinyl on sight for this tune alone. Very rugged production values, highly artistic endeavor. The truth is there for eyes to see!

Takes 1 is one of the best piano hardcore tracks ever written. I own this vinyl and have to remind myself not to play it over and over again. Played this out @ The Music Room in Atlanta, euphoric way to end the evening.

This record was released in the 2nd half of 1992. Production values and tempo indicate that it was closer to 1993, but due to being played by Top Buzz in Fall of '92, it was at least released as a promo before then.

Yes, I will do this as soon as I get back in town. It will also be useful to see a photo of all three with respect to cutting length. All three versions have different amounts of run-out. Won't be back home until April 11th though.
