It's amazing that all these songs came from one person, but the otherwise the recording is something that I could really do without. I mean I haven't put it in the discard pile yet, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I might buy any recording that pairs Billy Cobham with Ron Carter. But with McCoy Tyner this is a rhythm section with deep deep pockets! The focus is on McCoy's interplay with the flutes and orchestration here. However, Cobham's flourishes are plentiful ... See full review

I enjoy this LP. It may have less rock but has plenty of Latin flavor. The guitar takes second fiddle on some of the tunes, but as a whole it is still unmistakenly Santana. He has a lot of hits, so I shouldn't put too much on Europa but it is definitely ... See full review

Jerry Lee Lewis went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but for my money his old timey country is much better (and I'm not a country music fan, generally). This is a very good album, not quite as good as my accidental introduction to his country ... See full review
