Started to get into Popular Music End of the Seventies.
First discovering Beatles, then being introduced to Neil Young, later Santana, then soon punkrock, reggae, latin, jazz, 70ies (Zappa, Clapton, Grateful Dead etc). So to say everything mixed and mashed up from delta blues to country, house and hardcore. Main point is that it rocks, its authentic, and not too commercial

Nice Compilation. But the selection contains mostly cumbia, salsa or colombian campesino music, where I can't find a special "afro" influence, apart from the general origin of latin music in the african heritage coming from the slavery days. Only the ... See full review

I discovered them yesterday listening a online radio show on wfmu.org, never heard of em. Interesting - but I miss some dynamics and climax, or progression. Its very minimalistic or static.

You are right with the first phrase. Discovering more and more Dead -Material, and being Fan from their german Rockpalast show in 1980 on, I must say that this is an 5star record. Is has got the "Reckoning (DL Live LP) spirit and some great blues and r&b ... See full review

Tracks are taken from the Albums "In The Future" (1983), "Tension" (1984), "Live To Love" (1987), "We Refuse" (1990). Typically 80ies style, overproduced with stylish (of that time) keyboard sounds, and artficial handclaps. The 3 Tracks from 1983 "In The ... See full review
