THIS COLLECTION LISTING IS FAR FROM COMPLETE.
I only have about a third of my records listed.
Virtually none of my CDs are here because verifying the pressings is going to be a huge pain in the spindle hole.

All the albums you mentioned were released through Creed Taylor's CTI imprint. CTI often used the same design template, as well as striking photography (mainly by Pete Turner). I guess it was to help those titles stand out more, possibly also to give...

It's more like a black woman in Aphex-face (like in the video)

Did you just buy this recently? I did, but I only got one booklet.

This was going to be one of Infinite Zero's earliest releases, as evidenced by their first promo CD. However, it never happened... probably because of sample clearances. The Beastie Boys tried to put "Rock Hard" on their anthology, "The Sounds of...

Is this a pressed CD? The copy I got is a CD-R. This is a great album.

Could somebody who owns this CD please answer: is "Tell Me Something Good" the original LP version (4:40) or the single edit (3:30)?

I don't think I believe the have/want ratio on this (300:84 at time of writing). All the stores around me got one copy, if they got any (my store of choice didn't).

I certainly hope so. I was almost in disbelief when I first saw this. A picture disc... from the guy who released the rest of his catalog in half-speed mastered 45rpm?

A couple people have mentioned differences between various pressings. Could somebody please clarify this?
Also, is the 2016 version (which Milan used) a "remaster" or a "rerecording?" Yamashiro's notes left me confused. |

Is this LP the original version of the album or the "remastered" version?

That is very disappointing to hear. I thought the Heaven and Hell "remaster" was garbage, and I was hoping that was an isolated incident. Are they all like this? Like, even the box set Universal put out last year?

Forum note about track 4-7
-- As reported on sh.tv, "Topanga Windows" (the mono version) is missing its introductory chord, for some odd reason. (It's intact on other releases of the mono mix.) |

Does "bad processing" have anything to do with the sound?

Did this green one only get sent to people who got the box on silver vinyl? My copy is black.

Side A reissued as "Dakar" by John Coltrane. Side B reissued as "Curtis Fuller and Hampton Hawes with French Horns."

I got three copies of this version from Newbury (two were damaged and sent back). Two copies came with download cards for Abattoir Blues instead of this album. The third didn't come with anything. Maybe BMG should do a little quality control. (Newbury...
