I can't speak for all their releases, but some are not properly licensed, like Steve Monite.

If it's a ripoff of anything it's Telex - Moskow Diskow.

Not true. This record sold for as high as $500 and $700 on eBay in the mid 2000s. The price has been going up and down since then. Are you thinking about a different record?

How would it be a bootleg if it has unreleased songs on it? I'm assuming it's a CD release from the label. The digital release credits the label and owner Cecil McCrary.

sounds great!

You know the song already has noise added to it? Just listen to a digital version of it.

Bought a repress and it sounds great. Are people forgetting that the song already has added static and noise to it? It's intentional.

Two stars bro?

That's neither disco or boogie!

sounds like it

This song is good as it is. It doesn't really need any remixes imo.
|

I think the already tried to do that!

How is the sound quality on this bootleg?

I thought so too, but if you look at the Tyson 12"s you can easily see they are newer pressings. Arial, the font they are using, came out in 1982, and the Tyson script logo font is different from the original 7". Unless someone finds a 12" with a...

Just press more man. It's clearly a problem when a lot of people can't even get their hands on the releases without paying crazy prices. This is not fucking Supreme street wear, it's music!

Sounds like the bass player was a little inspired by Cameo's "Candy".
|

He told me Mr. Bongo is reissuing it. Not sure if he meant this 12" or the album reissue that just came out.

Because sound quality is more important than having 30 extra seconds

smainfunk The clip is wrong. The music is from Val Young, but that song is not on this 45.
|

REENO The YouTube clip is wrong. It's actually a song off Val Young's 1985 LP which is exec. produced by Rick James. It's not from this 45.

Look again. Did it say it sold for $1000? Nope.

From the re-issue? It says 2012 on the reissue and 1983 on the original.

Does this have a 6:05 version of "Listen To The Rythyn Ban" on the a side or is it a typo?

Cover version of Pure Energy - Love Game.

Intro is very D-Train sounding.

Drifter__ Those are two different remixes. Is there a mixup on this release?
|
![]() |
Yes, but it also came out as The Coachouse Rhythm Section* - Nobody's Got Time / Time Warp in 1977.
|

Let's also not forget that Eddy Grant's "Time Warp" came out in 1977.

Mr.Fonk There is no Vaughan Mason here. This is a latin disco cover of Chic – "Good Times".

How is the sound quality?

The original 45 isn't the best press either.

You need to look at the address on the label, not go after what they’re singing about. This is from Georgia.

notmargarine can you please submit it to the database so we can spot the difference?

Glow Of Love? I don't hear it all.

This is from North Carolina, not Detroit?

It definitely sounds like early-mid '80s garage house. They released a version of "Release The Tension" in 1984: Circuit (7) - Release The Tension so the year seems about right.
