The video mix and the English version of Andy both have a trombone solo playing over the outro. Has the French version with the trombone solo ever been released anywhere?

This remix album is half a compilation album. Not all of the remixes were new at the time of release.

Le Petit Train is the 'Remix Fevrier 89' from the 12" single (1989).
Tongue Dance is the Mark Moore and William Orbit remix from the 12" single ... See full review

Le Petit Train is one of Les Rita Mitsouko's best singles. But it's not worth tracking down the 12" single for the remixes. The Remix Fevrier 89 is already on the remix album 'Re'. It's easier to get there.

I wanted to hear the Jesse Johnson Remix for a ... See full review

Considering buying this 29 track compilation?

First consider this. The following tracks are single versions or non-album b-sides: 1-1 Tryouts For The Human Race, 1-2 The Number One Song In Heaven, 1-3 La Dolce Vita, 1-4 Beat The Clock, 1-5 Young ... See full review

What I think happened was..
The original Best of Sparks includes Gone with the Wind and Tearing the Place Apart, which was also the original release of them. Then when assembling a b-sides album, they put all the b-sides on, which is sensible. But then ... See full review

Romani's work for Change is superb. Paradise, Hard Times, Heaven of My Life, Angel in my Pocket to name a few outstanding stylised basslines.

9 Bonus tracks? Make that 7.

Unless i'm really missing something, Beat The Clock (Canadian Single Version) and La Dolce Vita (Extended Version) are identical to the LP versions. (Edit: OK to be precise, the mastering sounds different between the Beat ... See full review

Ticket to the Tropics is shorter too. I think it's the 7-Inch edit.

aw c'mon Interior Design has some brilliant songs. It's just a cheap sounding album that sounds like it was recorded at home, because it was!

This version has the Larry Levan remix of There's Something Wrong in Paradise... It's the remix to get. Levan slows the frantic track down and really emphasises the bass to good effect. There's another mix by Michael H. Brauer. But it's nothing special.

The long 16 minute version doesn't quite work for me. It's the reprise of the single version at the end that bugs me. Its exactly the same as the first 3 minutes. It seems Moroder and Bellotte really did run out of ideas for extending the track. The ... See full review

The remix of Memorabilia aside, what where they thinking re-recording Soft Cell!? I understand from his (excellent) biography that Marc wasn't satisfied with a lot of his vocals on the early records, but his approach here is too mannered and cautious, he ... See full review
