"Death by Dub" is pretty much a "what time is love" remix but nicely done all the same. Ragga, techno, rave, ambient flourishes elsewhere.

The EP is an example of their early experimentation. i'm sure they were well aware of the kind of tunes they were making. Popular at the time and still has a lot of soul.

This 12 has a couple of sleeve variations. There's a bright green, hand-sprayed, "swirl" of titles, sleeve. & a more abstract, hand-printed, "multi-coloured swirl" sleeve. Looks like the latter is the rarer & is def the more interesting.

"The roof is on fire" is a great track. Though I still enjoy listening to all the tunes on this EP, maybe it's a British thing. The 12 captures something of the late 80s scene in a KLF, acid house kind of way. Experimental, raw and a bit out there. Fair ... See full review
