I know I am in the small minority here, but I think this record is fantastic. Hetfield’s backing vocals are somewhat cringeworthy and take some getting used to, but the songs are great and Lou is in great form. Probably a tough sell for most Metallica ... See full review

I don't own this release, but the suggestion that 1-6 and 2-3 are unique looks wrong. They are just the English translations of tracks from Univers Zen Ou De Zero a Zero. As for 3-5, there are so many renditions of this track that it is anybody's guess ... See full review

One of the weirdest records ever- and that’s saying something!

My copy has the labels on the wrong side. Not sure if this is typical.

This record went criminally underlooked at the time of its release, and remains that way. A concise, wonderful set of songs. Wonderfully recorded and performed. A real gem. Anyone with a penchant for "folk" songs of the slightly darker variety should pay ... See full review

Mine is the same, but I have no info about quantity. I am curious whether the regular black vinyl even exists?

Another incredible release from this remarkable duo. It makes no sense that there are not more people going crazy for their music. "No Human Color" and "Olamina" are unreal, but the whole record is excellent. One day this record will be highly sought ... See full review

My favourite Low album and one of my favourite albums by anybody. Stark, beautiful and haunting. You have to be in the right mood, but when you are, it doesn't get better than this. Given the price drop since the Plain reissue, everybody should be ... See full review

Really an astonishingly good pressing of this album. I do not have an original copy of this record, but when I listen to this, I cannot imagine why I would need one. So inviting and easy to listen to.

The greatest record ever. Period. This one kicked me in the gut from the first time I heard it. 2.5 hours and not a wasted moment. I used to think "Volcano" was a bit awkwardly situated, but it works for me now. The power and emotion in this album is ... See full review

This album is relegated to be a forgotten gem. I'll admit to the fact that it holds a special place for me by virtue of the particular time in my life when I was introduced to it, but even abstracting from the situational bias (which is always present), ... See full review

Impossible to overstate how good this record is. Severely overlooked. A masterpiece. Even as a Charalambides fan, I wasn't expecting something this impressive when it came out. If you are considering whether you need this record - yes, you need this ... See full review

My copy has a lot of surface noise. Do I have a bad copy, or is this a bad pressing? Any insight appreciated - I am unsure whether I should risk purchasing another.

This one is a masterpiece. Quite different from the rest of the Big Blood catalogue, but maybe their finest hour. Colleen's vocals are terrific, the music is hypnotic and there is really not a wasted moment. Essential.
