Pretty funny - albeit not unusual:
The A-Side is pretty crappy and/or uninteresting, whereas the B-side is pretty cool!
Record-company probably wanted to go for a secure card, instead of trying something new. -Mistake!
Great pop-production! (B). Pretty ... See full review

It's weird... Every time I hear this song in my tunes-library I get a "tear in my eye". Is it because I feel a hidden sadness of "what could've been..." ?? I mean, the song is not a "sad song", is it? : ) I really feel a bit sad how the music ... See full review

I don't rate the music on this CD too high. There are better crossover recordings around. For me, there is only one really good track, and that's the one with Chaka Khan (Mind what you sayin'). Even if this is basically just a repeating 2-bar loop ... See full review

This recording was made whith a SEVENTEEN (17!!!) year old Sue Raney!! Blast!
Unfortunately, Her following career didn't continue in the same key as the beginning...

This is one of the most incredible Opera-recordings I've heard - regarding soloists.
- The reissue is also incredible well done! A pure treat.

( it's almost worth buying the recording, solely for hearing Jussi Björling blow "Nessun dorma!" away!!) ... See full review

This is one of my favorite "small-combo" Jazz-records…
- not because ONE of the players is exceptional, but more because it has "that something".
The songs are nice, the playing is very nice, the sound is nice…
Really sad that two young players should ... See full review

How many bands could pull that shit off (in the 70s)?!?!
Hilarious!

The first track of the record is pure MAGIC!
Very subtle acoustic jazz (String-Quartet with piano and saxophone...).
The rest is also nice, but gets a bit tedious in the long run.
A nice mixture of acoustic and synthetic instruments.

This is one of those recordings that I never get really tired of...
- here, Prince's musical genius flows free, and he does stuff that most (normal) people don't really want to hear...
(Many musicians got hooked on Prince, because of this album).

A cool record!
It clearly sounds as a group of session-musicians that get together and try to make something good.
It somehow lacks of originality, but it's very well played and produced.

An EARLY Disco record....
