One of the few artists whose entire discography you need to own. Crystl had a unique sound unparalleled at the time (we're still talking '93/94 here) known for long, deep athmospheric breakdowns (Sweet Dreamz) as well as insane drum patterns (Crystalize, ... See full review

That may be true for the UK but there are a lot of countries with no decent record shops or any record shops that stock Jungle. The reason certain records have high selling prices is simple supply and demand.

Amazing to think there are only 250 copies of this on planet earth. Bought mine for my 30th birthday a couple of years back. Paid 30 quid for it but it was well worth it.

Uncharted Territory Part 1 is a monstrous tear out tune which pre-dates a lot of tunes today that focus on edits/chopping/glitch. There is a crazy switch in the middle section that goes from the amens to flange drum loops and then to chopped up drums. ... See full review

Absolutely mental release.
'Broken Silence' opens with an eerie athmosphere before the drums (reminiscent of his track 'Cuba' from the same year) and percussions kick in followed by a moody b-line. The track rises above the doom & gloom athmosphere ... See full review

I just want to say that the musical melodies in Apollo are breathtaking (hard to follow the in-depth review below!) Ethereal stuff
Check out his other track 'Voyager' on Lucky Spin. Precious, precious music from way back when.

Zen by Ice minus is a chopped up amen roller that was in many a DJ mix back in 1998 while the remix of Still waters is an intense amen helping and featured on the Love of Life mix by LTJ Bukem. Essential for any beat freak

Not only that but 'Cuban Lynx' is another well-crafted tune. It build up to a mammoth bassline that hits you in the chest and will fill any room. Add a tribal drum beat, shaker and percussion samples and you're drifting away again, high into the ... See full review

I prefer the tighter reeces and drum roll in Nightmare walking than Electronic Funk. This is much darker IMO. And you've got those cool chords around the 5 minute mark. This is a wicked track

Deltawave is one of the greatest amen tunes of all time IMHO. I like the switch from the apache intro to the amen breakdown, the whole time backed with nice athmospheric strings and samples. The amen loop itself is quite intricate with many repeat taps ... See full review

I can tell you as i used to buy D'n'B on a weekly basis for my record shop that this was released in 2000. Though it did appear on a moving shadow CD a few months earlier and yes although the vinyl says 1999, i do not believe it was available to buy on ... See full review
