I'm happy to send pictures of any records I'm selling upon request. Please ask any questions before placing an order.

I usually can ship within a day, but I have a job (not a record dealer) and can't always get to the post office that quickly, so sometimes it might take 2 or 3 days to ship. If you're in a big hurry for some reason, ask before placing the order and I'll tell you when I can ship it.

I'll always use a proper cardboard mailer (sometimes recycled from records I've bought myself) and pack the record well. I'm a picky buyer myself, so I try to be accurate with descriptions of anything I sell. Just starting to list some records here. (Have bought and sold quite a few on ebay).

If the mix differences are "very noticeable" can you tell us what they are and at what points they can be heard?

This can't be a Kevin Gray mastering from 2009, as Cohearent Audio didn't exist then... I believe he left Acoustech and started Cohearent around 2013. This is probably a very recent cut.

The price for this is a joke... get the Analogue Productions all analog remaster: https://www.discogs.com/Hank-Mobley-Mobleys-Message/release/3895752

Why assume? You have both, just listen and tell us if one is mono. :-) Though I'm pretty sure there was no mono remaster in the "Back to Black" series.

Can anyone look at the run-out etchings and tell who mastered this?

That's because this was originally (re)mastered and plated in 1992. They just reused the metal parts for this reissue. See this discogs entry for clarification: https://www.discogs.com/release/7325630

Anyone know how the track times break down? Side A lists 4 tracks, but it seems that there are about 8 different pieces of music in total... I think A2 ("Once Upon A Time") starts at about 7:20 in... A3 and A4 though, I'm not sure where they begin.

It's not possible that a stereo record was released in 1955...

Surprised this isn't allowed for sale here, there must be thousands of "unofficial" releases on this site. If anyone happens to see this, I'm happy to let mine go to a bigger fan than me, and I have experience mailing records, send a PM.

I'd be curious to read a sound review of this Japanese pressing.

Anybody got a review of the sound on this Japanese CD?

Just curious, are you saying that this reissue has the fake stereo tracks, as the original US LP does? (The one on UNI records.) Most of the tracks on that are fake stereo, including title track "Israelites", which I assume was a mono recording.

Mine is #250, and is a very noisy pressing. How is the quality on yours?

Ok, no need to reply to me... I have the answer now as I have the limited edition Abbey Road package in my hand. It is indeed numbered and limited to 1000. It also contains the 2xLP European Decca pressing, the CD, poster, glossy print, etc.

Hi, where did you read it was limited to 400? I've searched alot looking for info about this unique recording, and didn't come across any release numbers.

If anyone could post details about who mastered this, and where it was pressed, that would be great. Posting all the scribes in the deadwax area should reveal the answers.

  northofnowhere5,
Apparently the 2015 EU reissues are different than the US ones (which were cut from the master tapes by Kevin Gray)... the dead wax for this release indicates a different mastering....

The matrix/runout information listed for the Audio Fidelity vinyl issue is incorrect... it was cut by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio... with the aid of someone else, whom I don't know....It is a bit hard to read though as his handwriting is not neat. ... See full review
