I am a collector of jungle, hardcore & breakbeat from the 92/93 era. These days when I DJ out, I mainly play afro, house & minimal tech. If you find anything in my wants you have for sale, feel free to email me.

I heard Phobos 23 years ago from a recording of a Sydney late night underground radio show called Looney Toons.
Was introduced by Biz as 'hard analog tech'. I never ever heard it out or played since.

I agree with most of what you say although to be honest it is all pretty generic these days; 'good' generic and bad generic seem to be the two options. There frankly has not been anything remotely innovative in house and techno for a very long time. New ... See full review

I have very little Mali music however this is one of the most beautiful, heart wrenching records I have ever heard.

Not sure if the owner is a fan of the funk/soul label Pearl Harbor, however this label uses a direct rip off there logo, interesting one of the tracks is labeled Pearl Harbor, coincidence ?

I'm not sure he is Australian as the blue dot on the logo side is meant to be the area in England where the record was produced, hence the blue dot moving round from place to place on each release.

Dreams Of Heaven is also an unreleased version, splitting the elements of this prototype into two versions for the official release on Dee Jay Recordings.

yes its great but adding comments like 'whatever it costs' isn't going to help with the discogs sharks....
this year it has been selling on here for reasonably fair prices, I hope it stays that way :-)

I don't doubt it makes sense in the context of the installation, out of it no sense at all...taking 'art' a bit far on this one.

Apparently Mark did The One Reason & Dego did The Second Reason. Mark produced it in 20 minutes !

anyone who wants to have a frisby competition with this record let me know....I'm assuming this was just made as a joke. someone selling it for over $130...well why not see how far the joke can go.

I really don't understand the fuss over this tune, its good but for the prices it goes for it seems laughable. Anyone around this music long enough must own atleast a handful as good and better and certainly no where near the range this pitches at. Do ... See full review

Deliberately didn't buy due to this. Amongst all the generic rehash that is released you get a decent one with a strong name drop. Does this justify the price ? Not at all.

The previously unreleased 'Rubadub Style' is not identical to the original dub plate as played by LTJ Bukem in 1993. One of the elements is missing, although it is a subtle.

The price that this and many other rave tunes use to go for in Australia was extortionate. At one point it was selling for around the $300 Australian dollar mark in Sydney. A lot of DJ's cashed in before the internet wised up many naive buyers.
