This is one of my favourite records. The instrumentation and structure are western, and some are sung in English, so it's a very easily accessible album. It's a commercial project, but hangs together as an album much better than a lot of the comparable ... See full review

How is this sounding?

Lots of bootlegs around (there have been for years) if they have good sound quality, and I'll never see an original, I'm afraid I don't care too much for legitimacy...

Best looking record I've seen in a while. Music speaks for itself, no lightweight stuff. What a piece.

There aren't that many stores. It's still in stock in places but you may be overestimating how long it takes a record to sell, distributers won't ship the llot in one go. Just saying!

It's not a far fetched accusation at all.... It's obviously most likely to be a bootleg, proof otherwise would be required!

It is an LP with at least 25 minutes music on each side. It has to be quieter to fit all that tracks on, that is my basic understanding of mastering anyway

Lol. Get out of here. If you are gonna call this a rip off you understand nothing about electro.

Great record, real strong arrangements

I don't feel you are saying anything about the music. The sales pitch is probably from the distributor. It says nothing positive or meaningful about the record and perhaps that's the point you want to make....By dwelling on that you also miss the ... See full review

Boss record. However every digger is part detective, and I've got a question

At 1.09 Frank or Fozzy state, "this is hip house, youtube it." This being 1990, we would not start surfing the web for years and YouTube was more than a decade away from being ... See full review

Make sure to give this a listen... styles that span continents here with some ecstatic afro boogie. Super nice work on the edit too. Strong crossover piece.

The Prince track 'Chelsea Rodgers' is hardly an edit at all. So far as I can tell there's a few bars that repeat towards the end. Still, what a piece of disco funk it is - a stomping groover to end the world.

Am interesting piece of hi-tech soul here. The A-side is characterised by complex synth play and basic percussion. Very dreamy. Do you remember some Kompakt artists were making 'micro trance' for a while? The term would maybe fit well here! It is ... See full review

Why on earth are you reviewing a shop's sales pitch?? If you want to disrespect the artist at least try demonstrate you have given his work some genuine attention

Surprised to find this is a bootleg. Quality effort on the sleeve and the sound is good; but lacking a bit of dynamism on reflection. I suspect it carries over some of the flaws in the Jazzman CD reissue (which really didn't shine.)

Not correct to say ... See full review

A fabulous and intriguing electro record here.

The melancholy melodies of Fire sound like a forgotten Parisian new wave anhem, ably supported by two b-side rhythm tracks.

A heartfelt tip.

All the samples to the left are at the wrong speed! I won't delete them because.. well it could be the start of a minimal gabba excursion for someone. But the tracks usually sound much less frantic - not your typical Berlin techno release.

This is the limited blue pressing. It has been repressed, and i think Clone have said they will repress again if there is demand for it. Absolutely beautiful record!

Amazing track, really something special. There is a European electro sound - cold, tough, stylish from Finland to the Netherlands - and this is at the pinnacle of that. So strong.
