Welcome to my Discogs store, I'm a private collector selling off part of my collection. Please contact me via Discogs messaging with any questions.

PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure your Discogs and Paypal addresses match, or be sure to specify which to send to in your order notes. Thank you : )

Grading info: I follow the Discogs grading guidelines (which exactly follow the Goldmine Magazine's grading standard that has been the de-facto in the US for many years) as accurately as possible so there should be no surprises, but in summary here's a bit of extra clarification on what you can expect from my grading:

M : (Mint) I only use mint for sealed records that look perfect externally (i.e. flat, no sign of warping)

NM : checked under very bright light has no visible marks unless mentioned (and play tested to verify no effect on sound). Very little or no play. Plays like new.

VG+ : (includes what many call VG++/VG+++/EX/NM- etc) Plays great, no obvious issues: Does NOT have any scratches, marks or damage to the vinyl that will cause significant background noise, or that can be felt with a fingernail. May have hairlines (super light micro marks/scratches usually caused by taking record in and out of sleeve, scuffing caused by placing records on a moving turntable platter etc and do not affect play, cannot be seen in dull light), light marks from the stylus. Plays great, no obvious issues.

VG : May have light scratches that can be felt with a fingernail that can cause crackle, ticks or noise. Records with groove wear that have light background noise during play - all defects will be described in listings. Plays with some light background noise in spots, nothing that will overpower the music.

G+ : this is the lowest grade that can still be placed on a turntable and play through without skips. Don't expect much, feelable scratches, plays noisily throughout but should never skip. I very rarely have anything in this condition for sale.

Good / Poor : Discogs/Goldmine define this as a record that is too damaged to play on a turntable, skips, broken etc - I don't sell anything in this condition.

Records are visually inspected under a bright light and I also play test anything that's not obvious, to verify marks or hairlines don't affect play etc. If anything gets missed, or you're unhappy for any reason please let me know and we'll resolve to your satisfaction.

It's from Cal Tjader's Soul Sauce LP. He recorded a few different versions of Mamblues, this is the funky one with Purdie on drums.
