Many years ago I had a music stall in Camden market, London, from which my username derives.
Very slowly adding my personal collection to discogs... as and when I play them. It has become my excuse to best explore the nooks and crannies.
I have extremely varied tastes, from cheesy pop to sound art, from the medieval to contemporary. I'm wedded and mostly faithful to physical media, with a Discogs bias towards vinyl, in as much as that’s the only format even close to completely added - still 8 crates to go though. Cassettes are all added now, but I only ever bought a handful in the first place. CDs still 1000s to do...
Being able to hold my collection in my hands feels good. Non-physical carriers have an ephemerality that can only be appreciated while travelling.
I make music influenced short films and video art. They are often performance-based with lots of electronic manipulation.
I take many photographs.
