In my opinion one of the smallest but greatest song ever written during the punk/post-punk era..

What a wonderful roster of underrated but super inspired artists..

A decidedly inspired record for an artist who seems to possess infinite inspiration..

This band was part of the Tuscan scene of those who made grunge before the seattle world explosion. Massimo Cibecchini was a charismatic figure, an italian Mark Lanegan and I'm not saying it to belittle: in inverted hemispheres you would have said...

If i have to choose the most rapresentative I.R.S. record I say Wall Of Voodoo, Call of the West

It's not important if was more pete Brown or chris Spedding.. This album is an incredible and really underrated masterpiece.. that was largely the best one, but if they just had to call the band with a more simple name for the four albums they did!

Un'ulteriore ripetizione: non posso credere che l'autore di quel capolavoro che fu 'La Fine dei Vent'anni' abbia esaurito la vena creativa in così breve tempo..

One of the best records in 2019.. I hope someone could recognize this thing and give the Yak the credit they deserve. If you like Deerhunter..

Musically I was bothered by the twist on this record which I never liked. At the same time I admit that it was the proof of their genius: always two steps ahead of the mass these two guys..

If i had to choose only one album among those of rock progressivo italiano I would take this one. I do not mean that Banco Area Pfm and others have done less important things but that this record is half a miracle: a team of no-pro players that wins...

The guitar riff reminds to Motorhead or Plasmatics.. it's the miracle of kids from nowhere years ahead with their 'bad brains' and fantastic souls.. plus, the very miracle would be to find the original tape and have a decent remastered!

Listening to this record again after so many years makes me discover that, apart from the successful singles, this was a very nice job as a whole..

Listening to this record again after so many years makes me discover that its perfect balance between shoegaze and psychedelia, punk attitude and touches of kraut experimentation in a general climate of great compositional creativity, makes it one of...

My pressing it's ok but there's something gone wrong probably in the final mix: it appears a flat sound and lacks any dynamics in the loudest songs. This kind of music needs high volumes but the result is an annoying greyness in which a part of their...

A great record. Probably the best of Napoli Centrale. Technically more accurate and musically vast: jazz rock, avantgarde, neapolitan folk echoes played with the awareness of those who know their strength. The experience from years of concerts and...

One of the most important records in rock history. In 1977, in full punk explosion, Stranglers can anticipate the sounds and atmospheres of PIL, Siouxsie, Joy Division.. While rooting in the history of the Great Rock, and I think mostly the affinity...

I really don't think this collection can be considered a compilation.. songs never released before, different versions.. all that you can call it a new album

A fantastic repress.. I forgot the sound of my damn lost first vinyl issue but this is certainly better than the cd version I still own. The songs appear smooth and beautifully balanced.. that's the kind of music-related business that there is little...

I just got word of Dan Sartain's death. It happened a month ago, but I didn't know anything about it.. hardly anyone knew anything about him. Despite this detail he leaves us one of the greatest rockers of the 21st century. The way in which success...

Possibly the best album from 2021 or something similar: although this record only seems to sketch some unexplored territory, these guys seem to have the potential to be the most intersting band exit from the British alternative scene in the last...

That's a record for which I had great respect.. but certainly most important, this album was a great surprize in 1987 and surprisingly totally unnoticed still now

A great record.. I listened so little about Allah-Las but they didn't convince me in the 'new big garage thing' key, towards which certain press seemed to push the band. Despite this, their fourth record is a great job. A quite, mature sound which...

A great band from Texas. I recommend their Eva compilation.

Nixon Now! I can't imagine a retro garage stoner band with a more incredibile name than that. Plus i love their sound! So Nixon Now and get to fuck.. to fist.. to fix.. to fly.. to die.. bye-bye

When you look at the modest height and the splattered electric lemon colour of the vinyl you can't imagine this mono version will sound so good.. I just adjusted the speakers level and it's really ok

The first version from UA of this compilation was sold together with the 7' Lil Red Riding Hood as promo. That single had the cover done with 999 logo stencil. It happens at least in some Uk shops..

So you have kid Congo, mick Collins and bob Bert startin' a new band, and you are surprized if this record is a crazy masterpiece..?

I had this cassette but I lost it somewhere.. although I remember nothing about the quality of the music in it, I feel sorry

Great songs, great bands.. but I really find it shameful that Madonnatron are excluded from this compilation!

Possibly the greatest garage punk song from the year 1966. From an italian(!) band gone disbanded after this only release.. it seems a joke or something like that..

This is certainly one of the greatest garage punk records of the entire eighties production. Sunday Love is a song which would have been great on the Ramones tracklist..

Highly recommended to any fan of early Pink Floyd. The sound quality is good and the psychedelic pathos of their first live sets emerges so clearly..

I found it a freakbeat fresh gem,. Certainly critics decided Van has to record only old school r'n'b or yper intimistic songs for his entire career and that was what he did.
At the meantime without their boss Them did really better than hundreds of... See full review |

So sorry for the bad recordings.. it seems they play into a bottle! This was a so great punx combo..

A fantastic issue this black one: it sounds perfectly balanced.
A great record from maestro Sandro Brugnolini.. but is better to say two great records: the first one from Brugnolini himself and the second one from Giuliano Giunti! |

With an Hammond as magic carpet instead of Vox or Farfisa but this is one of the most important garage rock record ever..

I really appreciate these undarrated guys. To be growin' with their two songs from 'Can you hear me? Live from Deaf Club' was enough to fall in love with the band.. they might be giants!

Very very nice record. Plus, It's not clear which instruments were played by Andrew Jackson (11) or Rick Cuevas: anyway.. what a lovely bassist!
