All the records I review here I own on vinyl, I don't have CDrs or Mp3s what would be the point. I collect interesting, rare, obscure beautiful music. It's all about quality for me now and not quantity, I am happy with a few thousand solid top records,..If you want me to do any mixes for podcasts or book me for Djing, mail me. Getting loads of shit for reviewing records I love so going to stop 1038. Happy digging......

Quality of the best track is awful, what a shame "Bud-Energies" is a proper B12 style track but could never be played out due to it's muffled poor standard.

The youtube clip is bullshit, fake as fuck. Why do people do this it's retarded, the clip is playing tracks from "Freeform-Free EP" on Skam.

You are wrong, I asked Keith Tenniswood earlier today in person and he said the EPs had nothing to do with him or the label.

This EP didn't see a proper release, but has the same cat number as the finished label copy with the 2 tracks. "Wild lettuce" appears on both 12s, but this seems to be a different on here. "Interview" is an amazing cut if you like Stasis and that uk ... See full review

Probably my favourite Elex release, I can hear hints of Leo anibaldi's early dark styles in this album. The tracks are experimental, dark and machine like in places, as well as nice acid lines and hypnoticness. I can see where Donato Dozzy might have got ... See full review

Really love this one on apollo, "secret life of bass" used to get played a lot on the early 90s radio shows by Colin Dale, Coldcut and other, great album overall..

White labels stickered, so probably not properly released or some kind of private press. Worth it for two tracks on this ep, "Incognita" deep house acid thing quite similar to the acid on "Oneiric" Mystic records Italy, other cut worth mentioning is ... See full review

This 12" has some nice tracks, the "No smoke" cuts are stand out on this EP one track can be found on the "International smoke signal" album. Addis Posse is more breakbeat/dub styles, and Gary A Gay fuses Techno/breakbeat...

U-ziq's best album by far, all tracks from 92-95 and some of my favs here include "Johnsons Q-Fab" which sounds like it came straight from Aphex selected ambient works, deep emotional techno. "Diala" always seems to get to me, beautiful. Each track here ... See full review

This record combines sounds of Detroit, electro and bleep. Got to be my favourite on this label, dark and sinister early UK techno and electro. This is as good as that UK sound from 91 gets, killer release..5/5

Got the bronze vinyl copy of this too, obviously the black version is better sound quality. But this is such a lovely album to own on either colour. Beautiful tracks all the way, best Black Dog album in my opinion....

Early UK breakbeat acid monster, totally unknown obscurity, from the golden year of 91.

This record is still reasonably cheap, most of the tracks are decent on here with deeper shades of techno and electro cuts. Probably one of the better releases on this label..

I have this particular press, probably one of the better releases on Transmat, if you are thinking of getting a copy, stick with the original presses, and don't go with the Transmat classics press as it sounds awful. I have both, and the original press ... See full review

Got the white label version of this, two decent cuts. A side a more acid tinged electro style, B side more experimental techno.

"Late night ride" is quality, took me some time to get used to this record but it's great after all. Sub label of UR as far as I know....This one is the best in the series of these limited releases.

Amazing record, this one is by far the best "Translucent" 12" a guise of Luke Slater. Four deep Detroit style techno cuts, and probably one of my favourite 12s by Slater....Find it if you can..5/5

Great record out of Belgium, very similar to the "eevolute" label sound. Detroit influenced melodic techno throughout each track, well worth hunting this one down. Artwork is also great....5/5

Unreleased Steve Bicknell, this ep won't be for everyone. Some might find it way too repetitive and loopy. I like one track on this, but most tracks seem undeveloped and could be the reason it's called "Inchoate form" and probably why it's unreleased.
