Really loving the album and the b-side especially. Unique set of textures and sounds coming together. Haven't heard too much like this before. I'm really curious who the secretive band members are. Pressing quality is top notch.

I also received this a few weeks ago expecting the repress but it's this one for sure. I was curious about the review below so I weighed the discs. They're 200g for me so I guess YMMV. Either way it sounds fantastic as the reviewer below has mentioned.

I just bought it, I have no matrix etching on mine. Is that the same for you? Sounds good as you said the bass is great which was important to me.

I thought the music sounded great and I was especially pleased with the pressing quality. Apparently these are pressed at the same location (Record Industry) as the studio. I was happy to see the picture sleeve had one of those inner "Katta" sleeves... See full review

There are so many version of this album and they a sound pretty great. Id say this is the best looking one so I was happy to support the UK record stores with this one.

Excellent excellent pressing. I thought they would have quality issues like record store day releases but they've all been fantastic. Really pleased.

I asked them on instagram they told me "Rest assured everything we do is legit. It’s why we started the label back in 2013. To combat bootlegs. As for the source, these were mastered from the original tape transfers that Universal had in their... See full review

Sounds excellent to me. I think they might be referring to the colour as not being "beautiful"- it's neon green with some marbling - I personally think it's cool and different from other green records I have.

Did you have a chance to compare it to the purple+gold version that came out last year? Is it really a new mastering?

Relative to my other records I always feel that I have to crank up the volume on this particular pressing. Is it normal on this MFSL or do I have some sort of dud? I also notice the record isn't 180g or exceptionally heavy, again not sure if this was... See full review

It sounds really good. I'm almost willing to overlook the slight dishwarp. The low end is absolutely fantastic on this.

You should report those stores to the RSD organizers as that's actually against the RSD code. Those stores should not be entitled to receiving RSD titles in the future.

There's a wide press of this coming soon, just be patient and don't feed the sharks!

First copy had a lot of sticky glue all over the record & the second copy was warped. It's a shame, such a great album but I think this release has too many quality issues.

Mine looks more Olive Green in normal light than the florescent green shown in the picture here.

Simply Majestic! You get full value for your money seeing as this "EP" clocks in at about 37 minutes. The pressing is absolutely ace as well.

My copy ordered from Amazon was sealed and I have to say it's flawless. Flat and it sounds wonderfully rich - no issues whatsoever with non-fill. I was expecting a cheap pressing but the fact that it also came with a poly lined inner was a nice bonus.

Could you please check if there's a way to separate the 2019 repress from the 2018 press? If it's distinguishable I would like to try and pick it up!

A real shame that the track Silent Miles isn't included as I've fallen in love with that bonus track in particular. Is it by any chance a hidden track?

It's Out of Print now (or almost as they could have copies for replacements) on Vinyl Me Please. Hearing that they will not press more copies, therefore if you want this album I'd suggest a good time to pick it up is now.

Happy to say it's a pretty good pressing overall. Absolutely flat and clean out of the box. Can't imagine the source is remastered but I would say it's worth picking up. Seems to me it's the first coloured pressing of the UK version of the album!

Great sound on this pressing, considering a lot of stuff pressed during this period is of questionable quality. The songwriting and lyrics are just fantastic. Oberst strikes me as a modern day Dylan. The music is really timeless.

No unfortunately I think the issues with the pops & crackles are still there. I tried 3 copies and in the end kept the one with the least amount of popping - at least all were flat.

Shame? This version is amazing as well. It might have been cut on 2 separate occasions but I doubt they, Kevin Gray especially, would try to make an inferior cut. I haven't heard the MM version but I'm sure the differences are subtle, but even then,... See full review

Highly recommended, one of my favourites in this recent wave of modern "late night" jazz. It's worth noting it was apparently recorded in one take, and direct to tape. It sounds excellent on this format.
