Always thought Mute 98 was so deep - there are no melodies really - it has a very spacey, grey(?) mix - there's a real Kraftwerk influence in the descending sound like the "train passing" on Trans Europe Express.

Complete classic techno, upbeat but chilled, trancey - both sides. Some real subtle stuff going on. Real massive slow builders. These would start a set off (?) - get people going, warm them up.
