Hello!
I am a low-volume seller and music enthusiast. I have been collecting 45s, 78s, LPs, CDs, and more for over 30 years. What I offer for sale is from my private collection of the tens of thousands of items.
I don't respond to questions concerning digital rips or trades for rips because I will not accommodate them.

Voting considerations
Runouts need to be consolidated per RSG §5.2.c.
First and foremost, Discogs is a peer-reviewed community. Be careful when voting Needs Minor Changes.
Use RSG §20.2.5 as a touchstone, but is it worth the hassle?
Fix it if you can.
Comment if you can't. Vote correct if correct.
Vote neg if the last comment was ignored or if the last editor is the update bot or an inactive/closed/banned user.
If the last edit was correct, but you need/want to edit anyways, vote correct first, so that the previous effort will be rewarded.
RSG §4.3.3 "Locations within locations, for example, "Studio 1, Abbey Road Studios" should usually be entered into the Release Notes."
RSG §12.2.7. For side identification, please use A, B, etc. in place of 1, 2, One, Two, Side One, Side Two, etc. But don't bother arguing with people about "Side A" outside of tracks as it is not worth the effort due to a lack of clarity in the guidelines: San Francisco Ltd. - San Francisco Ltd.
mispress or misprint:
Misprint = There are errors in the text on the labels.
Mispress = Audio issues like Side A audio on Side B, not labels on wrong side, same labels both sides, wrong labels, etc.
RSG §1.4.4 "...Manufacturing tolerance based variations in the shades of label paper or ink color.
Blank labels are not a misprint but a manufacturing variation per RSG §1.4.4. This is the same situation as the same label on both sides or no labels or labels switched.
RSG §2.5.4: ANVs are not to be used for surname changes.
Mislabelings such as (correct) labels misapplied to incorrect sides, two of the same labels, or missing labels.
Unintended vinyl coloration caused by variation in vinyl stock, etc.
These examples would not count as a unique release"
- Even if a release has sequential track numbering (RSG §12.2.6), side specification of vinyl and cassette releases is mandatory (RSG §12.2.3). All other cases should use the standard Discogs positions (RSG §12.2.9).
- For the first time on vinyl! = marketing gimmick. If it's has been issued before, it's almost certainly a Reissue: acording to RSG §6.17.1, this term is generally independent of the format.
- Reissue (RSG §6.17.1) and repress (RSG §6.17.2) are two different, yet -sometimes- complementary terms.
- Vinyl must not stay on the free text field of a vinyl release. According to RSG §6.1.5, the free text field should not be used to describe things that are already in the Format or Description fields.
- If a vinyl record is plain black, there's no need to add Black to free text field: RSG §6.1.5.
- When adding a double (or multiple) vinyl release pressed on two different colors, always use the expanded format (RSG §6.1.2) so that each color can be added in the free text field.
- All Media format is your friend: don't be afraid to use it! :-)
- No matter any fancy term used by the band / record label, RSG §6.1.7 requires to put color first in free text field!
- When adding / editing physical (= touchable) releases, do not upload pictures of generic sleeves or digital mock ups taken from third party websites: this is not allowed. This common practice does not help other fellow collectors to better identify between each release. Please, see RSG §13.1.4.
General
"makes more sense to put "variant 1" etc. at the end of the description field
First variant
Discogs submissions guidelines
ANVs which are surname alone (or misspelling thereof) or include real forename (or initial / misspelling thereof) belong to real name profile per staff ruling (See The Band - The Band).
No need to always say etched or stamped e.g. Cream (2) - Best Of Cream
Do not split the runout strings up into stamped and etched parts - they should be left in one line
How Can I Format Text?
LP + Album is goodjust LP + 33RPM or 12" is redundant
Guidelines
* Standard English capitalization rules in description fields as per guidelines
* Static BAOI first as per forum consensus
* Example: Peter, Paul And Mary* - Album 1700
Moved Ory credit to real name PAN per https://www.discogs.com/forum/thread/869533
ANVs that are either the surname alone (or misspellings thereof) or include the real forename (or initials thereof) always belong to the real name alias per staff ruling https://www.discogs.com/forum/thread/333683#3121316

Joiners as on release take precedence.
If there's no joiner use a comma.
For artists on 'split' releases a slash is preferred.
