I'm a recreational DJ & self-confessed audiophile who's been passionate about Electronic music since 1996, in particular Trance & Progressive.

It all started when I first listened to the following tracks: The Future Sound Of London "Papa New Guinea", Jam & Spoon "Stella", "Follow Me" & "Odyssey To Anyoona", Cygnus X "Superstring" & "The Orange Theme", L.S.G. "Netherworld", B.B.E. "7 Days & 1 Week", Ayla "Ayla" and Way Out West "Ajare" & "The Gift", all of which completely mesmerised me.

Once hooked I then properly began to collect Trance music, and from 1998 I instantly idolised classic tracks such as: Push "Universal Nation" & "Strange World", Armin van Buuren "Blue Fear", Binary Finary "1998", Mauro Picotto "Lizard", Agnelli & Nelson "El Niño", Three Drives "Greece 2000", ATB "9pm-Till I Come", Lost Tribe "Gamemaster", Art Of Trance "Madagascar", Signum "What Ya Got 4 Me", Plastic Boy "Twixt", Boccaccio Life "The Secret Wish (Lange Remix)", Matt Darey "From Russia With Love", Sasha "Xpander", Bedrock "Heaven Scent", and one of my all time favourites - Hybrid "Finished Symphony"!

Since then, I have been collecting Trance & Progressive CD's - many are signed and/or limited edition releases. Hence I tend to be on the lookout for new music all of the time; so discogs is great!

Preferred Genres & Styles: Trance, Progressive Trance, Tech Trance, Psy-Trance, Techno, Deep Techno, Progressive House, Deep House, Breakbeat, Breaks, Minimal, Downtempo & Ambient. Also have time for Classical and genuinely good music, not the superficial, commercial crap that plagues Radio 1 and the charts!
