My brand new copy from HMV also has a scratch mark on side 2 across B3 & B4, causing popping across two tracks. I'm gutted because the sound was lovely up to the scratch. Came without a poly lined inner sleeve. I've returned it to HMV for a refund.

Rarewaves are based in the US/Channel Islands. Tax dodgers ?????.A lot of their offers are (poorer) American pressings, rather than the EU ones.

Publish dates and release dates are two different things. The album was put on the market (released) in 1967, it is a compilation album. If you look at the bottom right hand of the rear cover it says "(Copyright sign)Pye Records Ltd 1967" (MAL 718)

Dreadful pressing. Lots of random pops and crackle in quieter places. Non fill on Bloody Well Right causes nasty distorted rip sounds during play. Listening to the album just makes me angry now and I revert to a digital copy.

Takes me back back to holiday camp in the late seventies, "Tell us a story uncle Rory !"
Dreadful album tho, wrong lyrics and all.

Can't beat this pressing, sounds amazing. Don't quibble, just buy it !

It doesn't appear to have the KT stamp in the centre of the vinyl, probably a 1968/69 pressing. The 1968 stereo pressings didn't have the KT code.

UK HMV stores are now selling this. So much for "Limited Edition".

The overall sound quality is excellent, keep in mind a lot of the recordings are not of the highest fidelity. Shame it comes in a plain black paper inner sleeve without a poly liner. I'm pleased with it.

I think it is a bootleg label. The Donovan Concert LP has been confirmed a bootleg by the official Donovan website. There is no copyright information on the cover or labels.

(EU RSD 2018) I was quite nervous buying this as it is pressed by GZ Media that have a reputation for off centre and crackly pressings. To my relief this is an excellent pressing on transparent (greenish) vinyl. The sound is amazing detailed with warm ... See full review

This is one of the worst pressings I've ever played. Neither the lead in or lead out on side one works, the needle just falls into the first track and then sits at the end of yellow submarine.

Fantastic pressing. There is more definition compared to the 2007 mono cd remaster, even the distortion is clearer. Keeps fooling me that it is in stereo but it's not.

My copy has the words "recordingis" written as one word on the 7" single cover but not on the album back cover. Can anybody confirm the misprint on the album back cover exists ? as I can't see the error in the photos on this release. My runouts are ... See full review

I have purchased two original MGM US 1967 imports in the UK with punch holes in covers and still in cellophane, one mono the other stereo. Both have a grey cloudiness to the vinyl surface and play with a constant sweeping sound. I recommend staying away ... See full review

Lots of snaps and pops at the end of sweetness follows on my copy. Thankfully night swimming is ok. I expected a better pressing after paying £25 for it at HMV.

A lot of the album has been changed. Some of Jeff Beck's guitar had been removed, why ?????. Disappointed, although the pressing is top notch.

I've seen 4 copies of this vinyl and all of them had scuffing on the second disc. My third copy plays though without problems on the scuffing marks, while the first had scratch noises passing over the marks. It's the luck of the draw with this pressing. ... See full review

This has to be the worst Elvis album I have ever listened to. The band had previously backed the smurfs by the sound of it. Very dated and out of place arrangements and backings that just ruin the songs. Elvis must be turning in his grave.

HMV staff went out of their way to exchange damaged grazed disc copy. After opening 3 new albums in store we found one with only a minor marks to disc 2 that I excepted and it plays fine. BEWARE, check the discs before leaving shop.

I don't agree that it is bass heavy, sounds just right bass wise.Test played on a Pioneer PL-115D with M95HE (jico stylus). Some tracks are a lot better sounding than others on disc one, day in the life is amazing (orgasm bit sounds re-assembled tho) ... See full review
