Longtime music lover selling from his own collection based on the needs of the moment, as well as an underlying belief that [physical media] music wants to make new friends.

I'll take your copy and you can buy me lunch, too!

[quote=CARLJA1960] Probably the worst record in my collection bought unheard on the back of an NME review. Total utter cr*p, why it is popular is beyond my understanding. But then I never got Nivarna ... See full review

Great record and now I know where The Black Angels got around 50% of their affect and 33% of their sound (I'm a big fan of The Black Angels for what it's worth).

And who did Lloyd Cole borrow from, I wonder? Sorry, but no.

This record is slated for a MUCH NEEDED reissue by Drag City on March 23, 2018.

The song lengths are all wrong on this entry. For example, Hard Headed Woman is over 8 minutes.

The Leaves is track B1 not A6--just so you know

Not sure who walked up and rated this excellent chunk of garage psych 3 stars (or less) but they are wrong. Strong record.

You love The Music Emporium = you're not stupid, you're brilliant.

There are no vocals on this instrumental record, therefore, no lyrics. The music is great early-mid-70s progressive INSTRUMENTAL rock.

Actually, the remix by Studio (track 3) would make this more than worthwhile separately from the issue of besting Tangerine Dream.

If you had to chart this record in a family tree it'd be something like:

Styx (decent early version only) <---------Be Bop Deluxe--------->Roxy Music.

For my part, I enjoy when BBD get the latter arty, glam rock sound but not so much when they ... See full review

Rarely has more been done with 13+ minutes of vinyl. One of the most important and innovative EPs of the 1990s encapsulates the Slint sound that has been imitated by many, but never outdone, this essential release includes the famous "Rhoda coda" that ... See full review

The [Guerrssen LP reissue] hype sticker claims that this is both a "psych" and "garage" record. I think that's stretching it a bit (OG 1978), This record sounds more in line with a lot of 1970s AOR (not that it's a bad thing).

I pity the fool that rated this phenomenal LP 3 or less. Really? One wonders, given that, how you even made your way to this recording? Will wonders never cease...that aside, this Agamenon LP is a very nice example of the psychedelic heights of the ... See full review

This LP is a real nice job that certainly demonstrates what was yet ahead for Alex Chilton once his partnership with Chris Bell was realized. You can hear the potential in the title track and in spots throughout this set as he moved from vocalist to ... See full review

As with the vast majority of 4 Men With Beards LPs that I've purchased (and I have dozens), the record comes out of the sleeve all gunked up AND the vinyl is streaked/mottled, showing many imperfections and a "dirty" environment in which the record was ... See full review

I purchased this LP in Louisville, KY in Jul 2014 as "new"; no CD is/was included, and if it's 180 gm vinyl (seems to be) that fact is not touted in the least on the shrink-wrap. Nonetheless it has the bar code and the BBQLP 2061 designation that matches ... See full review
