Rolling Stones connaisseur, former record shop owner. LP and CD , selling and buying. I started buying records in 1963 as a 12 year old kid. Since then I have been collecting, buying, selling trading. My private collection consists of 6000+ longplay records, 2000+ 45's, 7''ers, and cd's. I am downsizing my Stones collection, because I have more copies of the same record. Otherwise a lack of space is the reason to sell. My job is teacher, I am working at a school for kids with educational and learning problems. To play my records , I use a vintage Thorens TD125mkII with Audio Tecnica AT1100 tonearm and OC9 cartridge. My CD player is a Marantz sa7s1, I use Accuphase amplifiers and Tannoy loud speakers. I live music. I survived cancer in 2015. It affects my life , though...

These UK pressed CD's are somewhat bronze colored and suffer from CD rot after 10 or 15 years. This is some kind of corrosion which starts at the edges . After awhile CD's are not playable anymore. This only occurs with the UK pressed bronzed CD's .

by Dead Wax is meant the run-off grooves in the vinyl ,the space between the last song and the labels. This information is sometimes scratched or printed and tells all about the pressing.

avoid, if possible. The copy protection on these cd's makes them sound awful. Sharp edged, no brightness, a total waste of money.
