That long winded horrendous essay didn't tell me anything except that you are not a pink floyd expert, yes, it's painfully obvious you have something against Roger Waters, in fact your whole bloated essay is painfull, your sentence structure is virtually ... See full review

This was quiet a big hit back in the 80's but many pathetic people deemed it to dark, the pessimistic environmental message booms out loud and clear, besides the brilliant lyrics the backgrouind imagery for the origional video also captured everything ... See full review

I first heard this as part of the soundtrack of fear and loathing in La Vegas, even in the background it demanded attention but I had heard the song many years earlier when my older brother was a big Neil Young fan, lately been listening to a lot of my ... See full review

Acid effect is percussive techno acid track, hi hats and snares built around a very hard bass drum, he uses a series of snare rolls to bring in a simple but effective main acid sequence which starts off in the mid range then more resonance and effect ... See full review

A rather odd selection of styles on this ep, Yumbirrigu is the tribal offfering, it has a long intro with a repeated vocal snippet and is almost minimal with a simple 303 sequence, I think this could have been better with more variation and depth to this ... See full review

Sick of promises had the potential but the lack of variation kills it for me to a certain degree, it's really just a 16 step sequence (albeit a very intense sequence at that) looped for the duration of the track, Curse X2 is much more chaotic, especially ... See full review

Hostile Hostage is an unrelenting industrial banger, similar to dj boss in some respects, mainly the beat patterns and sounds but I find there is just not enough going on to really elevate it, very little in the way of variation so better to be uses as a ... See full review

With the non existent ratings this a a truly obscure release which is sad in a way
Metal birds runs at close to 150bpm, back in 96 not a problem but these days it sounds a lot better when pitched down, preferably - 8 on my 1210's, it is still an ok ... See full review

One of the best by Sourmash in my opinion, both sides of this disc are killers, energetic techno that is easy to mix in and out and back in again, ythat is if you like cutting backl in or not when mixing

Point One is an excellent prog house track with a trancy edge to it, it opens with 4/4 kicks and then subsequent adding of different percussion elements, distorted hi hats, snares, cymbals with what sounds like a long decay or is it reverb, then toms, ... See full review

Referencing the 1999 bash again remixes......
The mellow trax remix is a slammin monster of a remix, starts with a generic sounding bass drum but changes to a distorted metallic sound beat which drops out every 8 beats or so, then sets of 16 and 32 until ... See full review

Scopie is an odd kind of minimal Psy trance track, it is built entirely around the kick drum which is the driving force, creative beat patterns go a long way towards producing a decent dance track as opposed to a lot of the monotonous 4/4 kicks I am ... See full review

Cool track names but that is where it all ends, I like Lieb but these tracks just don't sound like his work, must be the Will E. Tell influence creeping in, who knows but I got bored after the 1st listen.

At 15.38 long you would expect something along the lines of Caspar pounds remix of TFM& A T but unfortunately not, the long ambient intro is nice enough but there is there are just not enough different sounds and progressions to justify such an epic ... See full review

Hard to see how this could be defined as techno, if you are expecting typical Lekebusch then you would be sorely dissapointed with this, I can see why Lekebusch only has this one release under Crushed Insect.

Lost In Machine Code (Manse Remix) is the best on this release! good to use as an opening track in a set because of the long intro before the kick drum enters which leads to a short break with no build up, from there it is the bass drum doing all the ... See full review

It's The Band (Way Out West Remix) you really need, an epic atmospheric breakbeat track that sounds inspired by Vangelis in some parts, futuristic, spacey synths & big bass sounds, there is even some minimal guitar in parts. Well recommended track, 5/5
