Just saw Forced Exposure has language about a late 2019 repress on their site, so hopefully, that's true.

Reissue up for sale from the label as well as Light in the Attic. Grab it now, only 400 retail/online copies. https://graveface.bandcamp.com/album/crystallize

Does anyone know if there is a repress of this coming? I asked my local shop to order me a copy (before the release date) and they were never able to get a copy and it seems to be sold out now, which is a bummer.

Would love a vinyl issue of this, Pinback's early stuff is just so good.

What? This is one of Carpenter's best! It works precisely because the same material repeats in variations. Also, the tone of the synths and drum machines are absolutely perfect. I have many of Carpenter's soundtracks on vinyl and find this to be the one ... See full review

Light in the Attic and Mondo also are distros for it, if you want to support independent record companies.

I was a little skeptical at first since it's a re-recording, but I went ahead and picked up a copy because I had credit at a store. I'm pleasantly surprised! It's really nice to have all the extra electronic queue's which aren't on other pressings, and ... See full review

My copy of this is perfect all around, so it seems like an issue not with the run, but just the copy you received. In my experience, LITA is usually really good about resolving stuff like that, I'd email them.

I agree it is completely ridiculous, but it's the only vinyl pressing of the record, so that is presumably the reason. I found one in a shop recently, so it's still around. Also, those expensive copies aren't selling, someone will list it for closer to ... See full review

One of the best looking pressings I've seen! The sleeve and the wax are really beautiful. (Sounds good as well.)

I much prefer the sound on this pressing, it captures the feeling of the film far better. As mentioned in many of the comments below, all previous releases of this soundtrack were remixed for stereo, whereas this is taken from the original film cues and ... See full review

That's the deluxe version, only for preorder on the website, I believe. No set release date yet, it just says later in 2018.

Really great pressing of an amazing set of recordings. There's something deeply uncanny and moving about this music, and this extremely quiet pressing does them a great justice.

Absolutely beautiful and intimate performances on this LP. Her songwriting shines in a way that is sometimes obscured by the full album arrangements and there's a real sense of her personality that comes through in her banter. If you're a Judee Sill fan ... See full review

Picked up a copy today, clean and quiet throughout, sounds great! As with any pressing, I'm sure there are some bad copies out there, but that wasn't my experience at all. Really happy with this one.

It's not unofficial, the music was licensed properly. My copy has no hiss, and the sound quality is quite good IMO. Listened to it three times this weekend while reading and loved it.

Pretty sure it has to do with the rights to the music more than anything. That said, many of the original soundtracks have full pressings that sound great. So yeah, I agree that it's missing a little something, but it's still a great record, you just ... See full review

First, I just want to say that this album is fantastic. It's the GAS record that didn't come out 15 years ago, just like you want it to be. Buuuuuuuuut, this release is stupid and gimmicky. The art book, like the box set, is pretty uninteresting, the ... See full review

Came here to say the same thing, this really needs to be pressed, this album is great and feels like a logical and excellent direction from The Rising Tide. Someone press this!

Sounds great! One of the better recent pressings I've picked up. No surface noise, pops or clicks, which all seem pretty standard with pressings these days. If you're like me, and like this record, pick it up!

I feel like a lot of recently pressed vinyl has issues like this, which is a shame. Give it time though, a lot of time I've found these issues go away with repeated plays.

Contrary to the comment below, this is one of the better sounding bootlegs I have! I'm sure it's not as good as an original, but the sounds is quite crisp, the sleeve looks nice, and the LP has good weight. Recommended.

My copy plays just fine, maybe there's something stuck in the grooves? Try playing it again, or cleaning it, otherwise ask Warp for a replacement, they've replaced things for me before when they were damaged.

That's because they were explicitly asked my someone of the Islamic faith to not use that recording, and they respectfully obliged. You'll have to track down an original pressing, or listen to it on YouTube or something.
