Compared to my CD this sounds a lot more open, and generally more analog/natural; All around improvement. The mix is better, I find the vocals a bit too forward in the CD, and it sounds harsh in comparison. I think the CD sounds good, but this Spanish... See full review
The Presidents Of The United States Of America - II
posted a review of The Presidents Of The United States Of America - II. about 1 year ago
Compared to my CD this is a bit more dynamic and better detailed (especially apparent in the cymbals). Overall they are quite similar sounding, likely from the same digital master.

I wouldn't fork out a ton of money for this.
Bob Dylan - Desire
posted a review of Bob Dylan - Desire. about 1 year ago
Doesn't sound all that great, but better than my CD - a bit more detailed, as well as more open and natural sounding.

Edit - picked up the MFSL CD - still prefer the vinyl for the same reasons as before. Also the MFSL is a bit sibilant (but an... See full review

Comparing to the digital, this does not sound as good. It's less dynamic and slightly muffled.
The Cure - Disintegration

I don't know which CD I have, but it sounds more dynamic than this vinyl. The copy I had was also quite noisy.
Queens Of The Stone Age - Lullabies To Paralyze
posted a review of Queens Of The Stone Age - Lullabies To Paralyze. about 1 year ago
The original pressing has the best sound, but it still sounds compressed and is only slightly better than the CD.

The MOV sounds as compressed as the CD, and muddy. Stick with the CD.

Sounds good, but is only a slight improvement over my CD - every version of this albums sounds compressed. Definitely not worth the current market price. The copy I had was also very noisy.

Overall I prefer the MOV version, but the MFSL puts up a good fight and it took a while spinning both records to figure out which one I preferred. Compared to the MOV, the MSFL:
-Is more dynamic with stronger bass
-Has better packaging (more sturdy,... See full review

Preferred the digital version for more punch and fuller sound. Also had a click through most of "Flapper Girl" on two different copies.

Sounds almost the same as the digital version, similar dynamics and detail.

Compared to my EU black 2015 pressing (https://www.discogs.com/release/7345404-Kendrick-Lamar-Good-Kid-mAAd-City) this is superior in every way. Punchier, clearer more forward vocals, better detail, less surface noise.
Mt. Joy - Live At Red Rocks

Phenomenal mastering and pressing - much quieter vinyl than the pink marbled version, which was a noisy mess.

Less compression than the CD after A/B listening - holy cow the CD is compressed and thin sounding in comparison. The vinyl is a definite improvement, but that isn't saying all that much given the CD's compression. The cover is unfortunately a bit... See full review

Agreed with others that this version is a little treble heavy, but it sounds fantastic. This is a well recorded album, but the vinyl brings extra dynamics and detail that the CD doesn't have. Packaging is fantastic as well, highly recommend.
Muse - The Resistance

The packaging is wonderful, and sound quality is alright. It's almost indistinguishable A/B-ing with the CD, the mix is the same although there is slightly less compression on the vinyl.

Prefer the vinyl to the CD. It has a richer and more relaxed sound to it, and I prefer this mix. For some reason on the CD the drummer is in your right ear seemingly in front of the rest of the band, but on the vinyl they are more realistically placed... See full review
The Cult - Electric Peace

Agreed with previous commenter. The vinyl version of Peace is thin and has the same dynamics as the CD, I would stick with the CD. Electric sounds slightly punchier on this vinyl version compared to the CD, but overall not worth it.
Incubus (2) - Light Grenades

Slightly less compressed than the digital version and mixed a tad warmer, but overall pretty similar to the digital - the difference isn't as major as Morning View and Science. Essentially you are getting slightly more punch and rumble from the bass,... See full review

Definite improvement after A/B-ing with CD. Not amazing, but the best way to listen to this album.
Incubus (2) - Morning View

Definite improvement over the CD as the vinyl is less compressed. Overall warmer than the CD as the bass is much more present with satisfying rumble, slightly better detail and presence on Boyd's voice.

Amos Lee - Mission Bell

The artwork on the jacket is beautiful but unfortunately the vinyl is not that great. It has noticeable surface noise, and the sourcing was likely digital, as the MP3 was quite similar in sound quality to the LP. The music is great though!

Awesome release, the sound quality is really good and I really like the mint green color. The vinyl has a little bit of surface noise but it's decent. Appears to be pressed at GZ Vinyl.
