One of the worst album of the thousands I've ever heard. No real ideas but randomity, there's NO a single original movements, absolutely lacks of any tiny original sounds, sonic timbres. Nothing. All the elements are already heard many times already ... See full review

One of Paul Hardcastle's best album. Suprisingly fresh, mooving electro retro jazz-funk all along in P.H.'s style. This time the album is to dance to. This man always had the swing, now he has just added spicey rhythm...

This Solaris OST sounds original. Seems that there's no later overdubbing, no digital fakes. Yes, this sounds to be the real thing. Athmospheres and noisy soundscapes and a Bach-organ theme all along. Mono. I don't know if this soundtrack were later ... See full review

Many of Artemiev's soundtracks were enhanced with digital synthesizers and effects later. Many of his so called "Soundtracks" are partly fake and were recreated on digital synthesizers and samplers. That is very "offtopic" because they sound very ... See full review

posted a review of Tomita - ノストラダムスの大予言 / Catastrophe 1999. over 3 years ago
The music fully features the Moog and the later well known Tomita haunting choir sounds and effects. This album was the turning point. This is much more than an OST. It's rather an early prog-rock/synth psych album. Highly recommended.

I can't listen the originals since I met Tomita descritpions. I have the Planets in several versions but all are played like a machinery and emotionless compared to the Tomita versions. Tomita plays everything with exceptional expression and delivery.
