Bought this the moment the local record store a block from my work posted it on their Facebook page.

It's a good pressing. Damn good in fact. No hisses or pops at all on my copy. A SMALL bit of what sounds like static on the quiet parts of Peephole, ... See full review

Ok, here's my review.

It's a good pressing. Damn good in fact. No hisses or pops at all on my copy. A SMALL bit of what sounds like static on the quiet parts of Peephole, but I blame that on the Shibata stylus on the 2M Black picking up every ... See full review

Just picked it up from Amazon, and on the first spin, I agree. I know the CD very well--and this is a questionable vinyl press. Very sibilant at the end, and with a system that cuts down on IGD, this is an example of lazy mastering.

Sound quality is pretty good, not great though.

First record is NOT flat at all. Your needle and cartridge are in for a ride. Not unplayable, but if you have your cart set at a very light weight, it could go flying.

Thank you for the upload. Interesting to hear it right after listening to my FLAC of the original CD pressing, bought the day of release.

Sounds much drier, more organic--a strange thing to say about (IMHO) one of the greatest openers in the history ... See full review

King of Limbs is the worst thing the band put out since Pablo Honey.

AMSP is one of the two or three best albums they've released. And that says something.

Always thought this album was spectacular to listen to when doing cardio. High energy, and keeps you going.

It's there, but it's not strong. You have to take a deep whiff of it. At least my copy does.

At this point?

Never. :-/

I wish I were wrong, but then again, their first album on vinyl sounded like crap. So who knows...

This set is the thing that dreams are made of. That and credit cards with large limits.

Miss these guys. They were the absolute best! Maybe Analogue Productions can mimic the quality of the Clarity vinyl at some point.

10,000 Days has never been officially released on vinyl.

It's a boot.

Great album, horrible pressing. Obviously a digital transfer. Instruments have no pop, and it's been equalized to the point where there are no dynamics that stick out. Nice to have, but don't expect great sound quality.

One of the best sounding recordings in my entire collection. Big Shot and Zanzibar will blow you away.

Nope--this one is all labeled 33 RPM. No 45 RPM on this release--sadly. But it's still VERY loud and VERY good.

I know a lot of people criticize this pressing, but mine sounds wonderful on my VPI Scout/Dynavector 10x5 combination. I don't get the hate...

Just curious--does anyone else have Side 4 as 33 RPM?

This has got to be a joke from the band, right?

I have a Parlophone version of X&Y, but it's not a box set. It's just a gatefold with the same info and no barcode on the back. Is this really a box set? It's the only Parlophone vinyl for this release.
