I assume Gotta Groove Records is pressing GBV’s and Pollard’s releases these days? I’m basing this assumption on the test pressings of these albums listed here on discogs. Makes sense, they’re based in Cleveland. Fellow Ohio boys..

Beware. This version has been bootlegged. With or without Obi. I actually haven’t seen a real one of these. All the ones I’ve seen are boots. https://www.discogs.com/Brian-Eno-Here-Come-The-Warm-Jets/release/2714284

Mine is glued to the shrink-wrap. Right in the center of the LP. It’s a large sticker that covers the disco/ mirrored ball. USA edition.

This is referencing the original vinyl pressing. Everything looks authentic except the promo sticker.

Made in the E.U. Pressed in Germany, I believe. Sounds great!

I don’t think so. The hype sticker says “original album, audiophile quality.”

Does anyone own a copy of this version that looks like the one in the Discogs entry? I have two copies that are a completely different shade of pink, both are more bubblegum pink. Thanks!

The important part is this EU pressing sounds great. Dead quiet, with great fidelity.
posted a comment on AIR - The Virgin Suicides. over 2 years ago
Hm, my “US” pressing was actually pressed in the EU, it says so on the label. Same matrix numbers and everything. Is there really any difference between the two releases? I didn’t receive a download card described in the EU release. Perhaps different ... See full review

Are we sure Variant 2 isn’t a repress? I ordered a copy from K last month and got Variant 2. Hard to believe they still have copies from 1998 sitting around or maybe not?

Has this been repressed? I bought the last copy k-records had online. Has it really been sitting there since 1994?

I hope that this EP will be repressed since his first LP is coming out. Doesn't have to be gold, a black repress would suit me just fine.

This version is repressed in the Cinco box set. Which is how I received it. It seems to be out of print outside of the box set at the moment. Sounds a tad bass heavy, but I don't have an original to compare to.

Bought my copy from walkingwallofwords.com in August of 2017. This version seems the same as mine. My cover is printed in metallic sliver ink. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it looks like this version is printed the same way, which makes me wonder ... See full review

I agree. I had to turn the bass WAY up on this record. Something seemed off about this record and now I know..I might look into getting an original press.

Uses the same plate/lacquer as ORG's 2010 release: https://www.discogs.com/Tom-Petty-And-The-Heartbreakers-Damn-The-Torpedoes/release/2576053 Only uses the A/B sides, obviously.

There seems to be some confusion between this pressing and the 200g.I ordered the 200 gram version and received this pressing. Sounds fine, but lacks the download card (no big deal) and hype sticker.
posted a comment on Soundgarden - Superunknown. over 3 years ago
Hm, maybe we received this version: https://www.discogs.com/Soundgarden-Superunknown/release/8720063 ? That would explain the lack of the hype sticker and download card, plus the underweight vinyl.

Yeah, I noticed this right away too. The records aren't anywhere near 200 grams.

My sealed copy didn't have a hype sticker or download card either. I wonder if they didn't include it in the repress...I ordered my copy from Elusive Disc on backorder awaiting the repress, so I assume it's from the recent repressing.

My pressing is the same. The pressing is fine, the only thing holding it back is it's age. The record can't transcend the so-so 1960s recording equipment used in it's production. But, I love the vintage sound to it!

Any of these bootlegs sound any good? Ha, giving the price of the original and crappiness of the remaster I don't have many other choices for a vinyl copy.
