Surprised he labeled the Aphex Twin song AFX, considering he has the non-reprint version of the album. I wonder if TVT Records insisted he use the current renamed version?

More likely people who burned a CDr of it. Technically you're supposed to create a new draft and leave it in the draft section for CDrs, but it refuses to display the cover in your lists if it's a draft.

When he set up his webstore in 2017 he sold it as one of his releases (with 5 bonus tracks). That's pretty solid proof.

A3 would mean the first 2 plates for that side had problems. Try number 3 at turning that side into record grooves.

Not unusual on old records. It's so you could queue up two sides in a row (if you had that kind of record player). For example Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland often was in this format on 2xLP. There's an actual industry term for it but I don't remember it.

"Limited" is based on the record company saying it's limited. It could be limited to 10 thousand, while another version only has 1000 copies but isn't called "limited". It's not actually based on the number of units, only the record company making the claim.

If anyone's looking for a cd version it's been released on CD as the first 2 movie soundtracks on one CD (Charles Bernstein, Christopher Young - A Nightmare On Elm Street • I & II (Original Motion Picture Soundtracks)) and as a box set of all the movies (Various - A Nightmare On Elm Street). The box set has tons of bonus tracks.

Surprised their 2019 dj mix isn't up here ("Societas x Tape", from WARP's 30th anniversary 100 hour radio celebration). I know it's a radio broadcast rather than a physical release, but you'd think there'd at least be a russian bootleg in the database.

There's not actually a bonus song. Track 1 on the CD is track 1 on the 7" single. Track 5 is track 1 on the 12" (the one with 4 songs). No idea why anyone would want the 30 seconds shorter edit from the 7" but he included both for completeness's sake....

Any other recommendations for different speeds to play tracks at? I mainly just do that with Aphex Twin's stuff (Digeridoo slowed to 74% is great...the original didn't list speed (it was a 45) and some people didn't find out the proper speed for years...

Not sure why it was ever left off mind you. Even with the bonus track side B is still a minute shorter than side A (24.5 minutes vs 25.5 minutes). |

As far as I know the official music video was for the remix "The Snow (Answers Come In Dreams II)" remixed by Jack Dangers from Meat Beat Manifesto. Or was there some music video for the non-remix version that I don't know about?

The 2019 "First Dark Ride" compilation has a 19:37 version of NASA Arab btw, which is nice but means it's still not this 12min version nor the original 10min version from Stolen and Contaminated Songs.
