Fantastic Boogie Disco tune with killer synth, deserves more attention - reissue would be nice!

Superb high quality CD pressing. Forbidden Photos of a Lady Above Suspicion is surely Morricone at his most electrifying!

One of the most satisfying Morricone scores from beginning to end. This 1987 CD version has superb sound quality which I wasn't expecting!

Great set of songs with many rarities. Sound wise, each track is heavily compressed & over amplified. This works well in some cases but not with everything [there's definite clipping going on]

Bad sound quality for what would otherwise have been an excellent compilation. Why is everything in mono??

Interesting label - im not a fan of re-edits but A1 is Pages - Clearly Kim. A2 is Byrne & Barnes - Keep On Runnin'. Two West Coast classics you wouldn't normally want to mess with!

So I wanted this forever... But the reissue seems a bit poor : no insert, no bonus track. Further more it was not as expensive as older variants but clearly it was a bit pricey for what I received.

I bought it some moons ago when ... See full review

Horrid remaster. So bassy & stale sounding. Stick to the original vinyl guys. Sounds like it's coming from old compressed mp3s!

what happened to the mastering on this? There are old youtube clips that sound better. Listen to the trumpet solo on What's Shakin'. Why's it distorted?

For those unaware, Mystery Of Love is labelled as track 11 on the CD but is actually track 12. It's also the Dub version & the recording is sourced from a vinyl record unfortunately

Absolutely stunning, beautiful sounding CD release. Not sure why it's marked unofficial. Buy on sight!

Yes, the music is great &, the packaging is cool. Sound wise, this is surely another embarrassment for Soul Jazz Records. A simple way to find out is to record the CD to your computer & compare the sound quality of 'Can You Feel It' & 'No Way Back' ... See full review
