what's up with "painter's link"?
is that a completely different voice?

nice clean pressing
i'd say it's missing instrument seperation, punch and some of the sizzle
of the original but for the money a great buy and a no-brainer...get it

nice re-issue
tight, crisp sound, find a clean copy and you're set
original canadian is better but this is fine if you don't want to spend the extra money

really great sounding, some of the best deep bass i've heard on my system.
the new remixes by Nick are also quite good especially bringing out the guitar but
this pressing still seem to have more weight and bottom end.

just in case this is not already universally known but the recording
quality and sound quality of this set rivals any i've ever heard.

despite "phasegate" the bottom end is very musical and tight even if it isn't wall shaking.

the sound on this is nothing short of astounding.
the vinyl is close to dead quiet and the music really explodes.

there is a lot of info on this set.
unlike most other reissues you can find out about the manufacturing chain.
the mono set is all analog from the original UK masterror tapes to the vinyl.

Pretty decent album, sounds a bit like Saga and Styx. Heavy and proggy, good stuff.
Blue vinyl sounds very good, nice pressing.

most older releases. Peter's voice is very smooth and maybe a bit more forward than it use to be as is Phil's hi-hat.

i usually don't collect Columbia House records due to
the poor sound quality i had on some of them.
this Rush release is an exception.
the vinyl is very quiet and the pressing sounds great especially with the drums.
